Aries
 After
a strong year for recognition and career, 2009 brings the reaping of many
benefits from this increased respect for what you do. Your business income
improves, and you now focus on going after your fondest hopes and wishes, not
only material and career goals. 2009 is a fabulous year for networking and
establishing pleasant (and, in some cases, possibly even profitable) friendships
and group associations. You continue to be especially ambitious this year, and
there is a little less focus on family and personal matters, although changes
are likely in the home, which can include moves, repairs, and changes in the
structure of the family. In the last two months of the year, some will face
relationship tests and trials, but strong partnerships survive and mature. Many
Aries will be forming solid new business partnerships at this time. March and
April bring some backtracking in the areas of relationships, partnerships, and
finances. Take this time to review these matters with an eye on improving them.
However, from the last week of April and through May, romance sizzles. Wonderful
opportunities to make money occur in June and the first week of July. November
can bring challenges, with career and partnership goals clashing. Changing roles
on the career front figures strongly this year, as you take on more authority

Taurus
Some form of pleasant culmination in your professional life brings rewards
and recognition for you in 2009, dear Taurus. Your intuition tends to be spot on
when it comes to career matters this year. Remember that the more you trust your
intuition, the more it becomes available to you. You are loving your career in
2009, and this positive attitude brings great rewards. Some interesting events
that reek of synchronicity and "magic" occur on the career front. Connections
that further your career goals are made and come seemingly out of the blue--at
exactly the right moments! Introductions to different people and new lifestyles
continue to expand your mind. Casual relationships continue to mature and become
more serious this year. Towards the end of 2009, work and health matters become
more serious matters. A partner is more goal-oriented and is approaching your
relationship from a more practical perspective. A lover could find your changing
lifestyle or friendships hard to accept this year, becoming a real issue
especially in February and September. Periods of pronounced intimacy occur in
May, July, and December, but can also bring wonderful career opportunities. The

Gemini
Your curiosity is well known, dear Gemini, and in 2009 you'll have many
opportunities to satisfy it. Much pleasure through higher learning, connecting
with people faraway and with completely different backgrounds than yours, and a
broader scope of experiences is in your stars this year. Many of you will
travel, and most will enjoy new and exciting adventures. For writers and
artists, this is a year in which you're likely to get published or expand your
audience. A close partner is more outgoing and adventurous. For those hoping to
meet a “significant other”, your best bet this year is while traveling, at
school, or while taking a break from the routine. Strong periods for meeting
someone special “out of the blue” are towards the end of May, mid July, and in
the last two weeks of December. Romantically speaking, this year is more serious
than last, but July 12-August 15 is exciting and spontaneous for love. Your
professional life continues to be unpredictable and exposes you to new people
and ideas. Some of you (mostly those born June 10-18) are going through quite a
rebellious phase! The important thing to remember is that you are listening more
to your ego than your heart during this stage, and if you go to an extreme, you
could be leaving behind things or people who mean more to you than you may know.
Life's usual knocks don't seem to upset you this year, and a positive attitude
keeps things fresh.
Cancer
In 2009, your major focus is on private matters and
close personal relationships, dear Cancer. Getting family and home life into
order figures strongly. New levels or depths of intimacy are uncovered in 2009.
Sexual opportunities are likely to abound, or your focus on one partner becomes
more expansive, warm, and intimate. Some of you will be taking a casual romance
to an entirely new level this year and in coming years. Money from others or
from outside sources is much improved this year. Non-tangible support is also
abundant--assistance from others comes easily. You could be involved in some
heavy research and digging on the job. Deep personal changes are ahead for all
Cancers, but particularly those born from June 21-25. Your attitude towards
close relationships and partnering undergoes transformations. Depth of
experience will be sought. Many of you will deepen your commitment to a
significant other. Over the next few years, you will be ridding your life of
superficiality in your close relationships. Lessons learned may not always be
easy, but empowering in the end. Power struggles are possible in close personal
relationships for many Cancers. Your relationships tend to have distinct themes
revolving around personal power, jealousy, manipulation, or self-will. Your
biggest enemy now is resentment, which can act to eat away your confidence and
healthy state of mind. In 2009, your eyes are opened to new experiences and
belief systems. Some of you (mostly those born July 11-19) are enjoying a period

14-19 are likely to struggle with drawing personal boundaries with a partner.
Leo
2009 is likely to be a banner year for relationships, connecting with a
significant other, and work with the public, dear Leo. Some of you will form a
partnership that either leads to marriage or is otherwise significant, some will
enhance an existing close relationship, and most will derive much joy from their
relationships with significant others. New partners met this year are
likely to feel much like a breath of fresh air. Challenging relationships, or
challenges in relationships, tend to be left behind. 2009 is a
commitment-friendly year for you. Some of you will be taking a casual affair to
a whole new level. Romance becomes a little more serious, but "fun-serious".
Many of you will fall in love, or re-commit to a current lover. You continue to
buckle down with money this year. Matters are not moving quickly when it comes
to personal finances—in fact, there can be some struggles regarding
unpredictable trends with money from outside sources or shared with a partner,
which should be sorted out by October. Those born early in the sign (from July
23-27) may be required to make adjustments in their work and health routines in
order to accommodate new changing circumstances. Towards the end of year, many
of you will be getting serious about learning, studying hard, and changing your
attitudes towards work. Many will be working on perfecting and refining skills
that will be useful on the job, and some will be forced into that position.
Career matters are dynamic and exciting from June 7-July 5.
Virgo
In 2009, dear Virgo, Jupiter is blessing your work and health sector, and
you're bound to experience more satisfaction from your job, improved working
conditions, and better health. Although work can be hectic at times, you enjoy
taking care of all the details. If you have been trying to land a dream job,
it's within reach in 2009. Virgos born early in the sign (August 23-28) are
enjoying more credibility this year. Intense, fateful, and deep love affairs can
develop for these early Virgos, or strengthening of current love ties. Virgos
born September 8-22 are experiencing big changes this year. Increased
responsibilities are likely. You could be taking yourself more seriously, and
feeling a lot of pressure. Your worst enemy in 2009 is the tendency to be
self-critical. Keep your sense of humor! Pressures and responsibilities
notwithstanding, love, romance, fun, and hobbies are at the front of your mind
in 2009. While romantic relationships of a more casual nature tend to fare well
this year, unstable energy is with you for more committed relationships. Many of
you are feeling strong urges to break free from your routine and to express
yourselves in a freer manner. Conditions and responsibilities that you have
previously tolerated or even enjoyed are now seen as overwhelming and
restrictive. Saturn, the taskmaster, leaves your sign in October, which may be
seen as a relief for many of you. A new cycle of buckling down with personal
finances then begins. Career matters are exciting and dynamic from July
12-August 15.
Libra
With Jupiter, the planet of abundance, moving through your romance and
pleasure sector virtually all year, dear Libra, 2009 is bound to bring pleasure
in the romance department. Social engagements abound. For singles, meeting a
special person is highly likely, although it is not necessarily a person who is
“partnership material”. You are feeling quite free from responsibilities until
the end of October, making it easier for you to let your hair down and have a
good time! New responsibilities, and possibly pressures, are likely to appear in
the last two months of the year, particularly for those born very early in the
sign (September 23-27). Very strong opportunities for starry-eyed romance occur
this year with Jupiter joining Neptune three times in your romance sector–in
May, July, and December. Mind you, there is also a tendency to be a little on
the gullible side–you could be believing what you want to believe rather than
what is. In November, family responsibilities, changing attitudes toward
domestic life and family, and possibly issues with control and dependency will
surface, and many of you will be feeling pressure to organize your lives and to
become more responsible. Love challenges are possible from March 6-April 17, but
April 24 to May 31 is an excellent period for partnering and romance. Career ups
and downs are likely. Work is more creative than usual. Finances are stable and
steady, and you’re finding it natural to spend wisely, and to invest more in
your home and “nest”.
Scorpio
2009 brings a strong appreciation for, as well as improvement in, your home
life and family, dear Scorpio. The year is bound to bring pleasure, bounty, and
expansion on the domestic scene. It’s a year in which you rediscover your roots
and work on loving yourself from the bottom up. You are also beginning a long
and rewarding process of increased learning, studying, and expanding your skills
set. For those born November 11-19, pleasant excitement on a romantic level is
in store. You feel a little freer in expressing your playful side. For all
Scorpios, you are becoming more resolute, determined, and courageous in 2009.
You are more able to free yourself from limiting personal habits. Relationships
are improved as you feel stronger and more comfortable in your own skin. Those
who are married or in a committed partnership shouldn’t make any serious
decisions while Venus is retrograde from March 6-April 17. It’s a period when a
partner may not be as responsive or enthusiastic. From June 6-July 5, the cosmos
are stirring up your passions in a close partnership. Some Scorpios will meet a
special someone during this period. Already committed Scorpios will be spicing
up a current relationship. There are likely to be some tests and challenges
brought to your friendships and more casual relationships in 2009, as you are
weeding out all that is superficial. Friendships that survive are mature and

Sagittarius
You’ve been through enormous personal changes in the last few years, dear
Sagittarius, and ideally you have connected with what really motivates you and
“makes you tick”. 2009 brings pleasing social interactions, plenty of
opportunities to learn and improve your skills, and a changing attitude towards
money and income. While there could be a lot of backtracking, review, and
rethinking in the love arena, we don’t expect any major breakups or major new
beginnings either. Romance really moves ahead, however, from April 24-May 31.
This is a power period for your love life. Most of you will be having a blast.
Some rigidity in your career could create challenges in your home life. The urge
to rebel against conditions that you have previously accepted is strong,
especially for those born December 12-19. Towards the end of the year, and
particularly for Sagittarians born early in the sign (from November 22-27),
friendships begin to go through some tests. This “clean up” is only beginning
and will continue for a couple of years. It’s designed to weed out the
superficial friendships and to strengthen those that truly matter. Financially
speaking, it’s mostly smooth sailing, except for some challenges in November.
Open up a "dream come true" account for yourself, as money is tied to your
sector of hopes and dreams for much of the year. 2009 is a fabulous year for
learning, work in communications, and networking. Plenty of opportunities arise
on intellectual lines, as well as on the home front. Some of you will have your
eye on a dream home, and many of you will be enjoying pleasing family
connections and support.
Capricorn
The year begins with a real burst of energy, confidence, and power, dear
Capricorn. 2009 is a time of big personal changes for many Capricorns, but
particularly those born early in the sign (December 22-26). Money matters are
especially strong this year.
A year-long trend towards greater flow of personal income is in
your forecast, but do be aware that the flow can just as easily come in and go
out if you're not careful! You are feeling more generous this year, and although
you could never be called a spendthrift, you are equally inclined towards
spending and saving in 2009. Increased responsibilities in your career arise
towards the end of the year. While there are no shortcuts or totally lucky
breaks at this time, you are likely to derive much satisfaction from your
achievements that come from your hard work. The challenges on the career
front that November brings likely revolve around issues of control and power.
From March 6-April 11, you will have to be patient and sensitive when it comes
to a lover and love relationship. It’s also a period of reworking or
sluggishness on the career front. A spunky period for your love life, however,
occurs from June 6-July 5, when your charm is super and romance fairly sizzles.
Partnered Capricorns will also be having a good time–it’s a fabulous opportunity
period for scheduling a romantic getaway. Opportunities to increase your income,
as well as the receiving of gifts and favors, occur often in 2009.
Aquarius
This is your year, dear Aquarius. You are presenting a more generous, jolly,
and pleasant “you” in 2009 that’s sure to win you positive attention. Neptune in
your sign continues to add an air of intrigue and mystery to your aura, and
Jupiter, now in Aquarius as well, endows you with a likable, open, and happier
manner that will invariably boost your appeal. 2009 is excellent for personal
popularity and influence, as well as getting personal initiatives off the
ground. Nevertheless, problems arise in a partnership regarding matters of
sharing, intimacy, and finances. Some of you may be dealing with arguments with
a partner (or ex) over money and/or sexuality and concepts of “ownership”. By
the end of October, challenges with debts, taxes, or shared finances lift for
most of you. It’s also a time when you are feeling freer on an intimate level.
While money that is shared or coming from others may be challenged in 2009,
income from your own personal efforts is likely to improve. In January and
February, issues surrounding independence versus dependence arise that need
attention. A partnership may be tested, but strong ones come out of it even
stronger! July 12-August 1 is a sizzling time for romance. In 2009, your
feelings, ideals, and beliefs expand, and you have a strong desire to make
everyday life more magical. A positive attitude will bring positive
circumstances into your life, as long as you remain realistic. Try not to take
unnecessary risks or gambles. Your heart is very open this year. Protect it with
realistic expectations and you’ll have a grand ol’ time!
Pisces
In 2009, dear Pisces, you enjoy an increasing feeling of hope, optimism, and
spiritual protection. Your intuition is heightened to possibly even uncanny
levels. Struggles in your close personal relationships are likely to continue
this year, but should be straightened out towards year end. In recent years,
Pisces have become more independent in spirit. Pisces are known for their
selflessness and acceptance, so your recent insistence on equality in your
relationships has thrown a few people you know for a loop. The important people
in your life will adjust and accommodate your new need for self-expression. Just
try to avoid making unnecessary sweeping changes, and try to discern between
rebellious behavior and fair behavior. For those born March 13-17, this is an
all-new energy, although you have likely felt it “in the works” for some time.
Partnerships continue to experience freedom versus responsibility issues, and
some won’t survive the tension, particularly if they are holding you back from
being yourself. For others, the partnership remains but is ideally much
improved, accommodating your needs much better than it did before. For those
born early in the sign (February 19-23), group work and friendships are very
positive, empowering, and transforming for you in 2009. You are likely taking
more creative risks this year in an effort to pursue dreams that suit your
deepest needs. September 29-October 14 is an excellent period for romance. Love
is pleasurable and exciting at once. Another short but exciting period for love
occurs from April 18-22, when many of you will be enjoying a new or renewed
romance.
