2010 Overview. 2010 is strong for partnerships, finances, and studies for you, dear Leo. Many of you have found a partner, and more of you will do so this year, more likely in the second half of 2010. It's an excellent period for romance, fun, friendship, and discovery with someone close to you. You tend to prefer spending time with one person than with groups this year. Money from others or from outside sources is much improved this year, whether it's through loans, refunds, tax rebates, or the like. Non-tangible support is also abundant--assistance from others comes easily. If you are looking for support, especially financial, this is a good year for doing so. Improving your skill set may be necessary for your work, and even if it isn't required of you, you should probably look into getting formal or even informal training. You tend to have less time for acquaintances in 2010, and perhaps even for family at times. Small talk no longer seems to satisfy you, and you could feel quite a bit of pressure to make better and more efficient use of your time. Work is likely changeful this year. Routines may get mixed around, intellectual interests change, and desire for alone or down time is different this year. You are searching for something more fulfilling and deeply satisfying on the job front, and this trend will slowly unfold over the coming years. Along the way, events seem to conspire to push you into that direction. Some of you are moving towards working at home. Demands of your job and for some of you, studies and learning, can be weighty this year, and you might not always find it easy to focus on them. 2010 begins a little tentatively for you. The first few months of the year have you thinking before you act, a little introspective, and perhaps emotionally distant. This is a period of review and of getting in touch with your deepest needs and wants. From April forward, your energy levels return with gusto and you are more confident about going after what you want. Sexuality and intimacy are enhanced this year as you discover new depths of experience. Romance is exciting and brings you into new circumstances and scenarios. May 29-July 2 and October 28-December 14 are especially strong for romance, love, and pleasure. 2010 Details. Jupiter entering Pisces on January 17th places this Great Benefic in your intimacy sector. From January 17th until June, and then again from September 2010 to January 2011, you may see benefits in any of the areas ruled by the eighth house--joint finances, shared resources, loans, taxes, sexuality, intimacy, healing, personal transformation, research, investigation, and psychological matters. This is a time of increased psychological understanding, intimacy, and perhaps accumulation of wealth if you manage your resources well. This is an excellent time to work on financial planning and strategy. You are more capable of helping friends and loved ones who are dealing with a crisis--you can be leaned upon. Your ability to understand and accept anything that is deep in meaning or significant is enhanced now, and you instinctively realize that the path to healing is to face your fears. Any type of in-depth study or research is likely to go well. In some cases, a significant tax refund, inheritance, inheritance, or other such benefit might arrive during this transit. Financial gains may come through a partnership or there may be an increase in a spouse's income. Sexual opportunities are likely to abound, or your focus on one partner becomes more expansive, warm, and intimate. This could be a time of purging yourself of literal or psychic "junk", as there is a sense that de-cluttering your life will be beneficial to your emotional well-being. Benefit can come through jointly held resources, loans, or taxes. These positive circumstances won't necessarily fall into your lap, and are unlikely to come all at once. You need to keep your eyes open for opportunities in these areas of life. The most favorable periods for these matters occur while Jupiter is in direct motion in your solar eighth, from January 17 through June 6, and then from November 18-January 22/11. Saturn continues to transit your solar third house until April 7th, and then again from July 21st forward. You are more productive, with a responsible and sometimes even somber outlook. Although you have a desire to make contacts, you are now rather preoccupied with learning or producing, and you may view idle chit-chat as a waste of time. You could feel an unusual pressure to structure your time and effort, and to cut out communication that seems unnecessary. Bouncing ideas off a special person in your life will produce great benefits. You are more able to accomplish something solid this year. By the end of the transit, you will have ideally gained a greater depth of understanding, having focused on information and communication that you really can use to feel more effective in the world. As Saturn sextiles your Sun this year, you benefit from a sense of stability as well as positive feedback from superiors. You are also more credible and reliable, which others appreciate and acknowledge. Hard work done in the past begins to pay off, and you could feel quite supported and secure with the people in your life. Saturn returns to your solar second house from April 7th to July 21st, and this can bring closure or re-evaluation to issues you have been dealing with regarding finances, personal possessions, values, and comfort matters. You are likely to revisit issues that you were dealing with in 2009. Ideally you have learned to prioritize and to budget your time and money effectively. While Saturn transited your second house, you were called upon to manage your resources and finances better. There should be a sense of mastery now as you finish this transit. Uranus continues to shake up your solar eighth house. There could be some ambiguities or unexpected happenings surrounding money that are part of your life but that don't come from your own income. This includes such things as shared resources with a close partner, alimony, taxes, loans, and so forth. At times, this could throw you off balance. This position could also indicate a period of uncertainty surrounding your intimate relationships, and/or some experimentation with your sexuality. This influence is not new to you. Neptune's presence in your solar seventh house is also an influence that has been with you for awhile, casting some "fog" over your partnerships. You may be meeting evasiveness in a partner or potential mates. A more accepting or spiritual approach to partnerships may have been a way of life in recent years. Those of you born July 26-29 or with an Ascendant of 3-6 degrees Leo are likely to experience job or health changes that require a completely new attitude and various adjustments in your daily routines. Eclipses this year mostly fall in your sixth and twelfth houses. Circumstances urge you to rid yourself of guilt about under-performing, and to develop faith and trust in a larger more spiritual plan. It's time to let go of some of your fears that you are not doing enough, to develop more compassion and understanding of others, and to be humble, feeling safe in the knowledge that you (and others) are not perfect. It's time to let go of some of your obsessions with rules, details, and fears of not doing things perfectly. There could be changes necessary in your job or health routines. You can use this surge of emotional energy to make positive changes to your routines. Do something to improve your work conditions if they are annoying you. Get going on your exercise or nutrition program that you know you have to do in order to feel more balanced. Jupiter conjuncts Uranus on June 8th and September 18th in 2010. This exciting aspect occurs in your solar ninth house in June and solar eighth house in September. It's a time when the need for progressive change suddenly becomes apparent. We might take risks (perhaps, but not necessarily, foolish ones) for the sake of freedom under the Jupiter-Uranus influence. We can open ourselves up to new ways of thinking now. However, we could also too easily avoid taking responsibility for things that truly matter. We're open to new energies, approaches, and attitudes. Fortunate events occur as a direct result of our willingness to entertain the unusual and to think outside of the box. We are feeling brave, positive, and optimistic. In June, the urge for adventure and new experiences that introduce you to new cultures, beliefs, or feelings is likely very strong. Sudden opportunities to expand your horizons, such as through travel, adventure, or learning can arise and jolt you out of your routine. In September, developments in the financial or emotional support you receive, whether it's through loans, the resources of a partner, or other types of help, are quick and surprising. You might find yourself in a situation of sharing or pooling your resources with a partner. Alternatively, this can be a time of sudden insights and opportunities for emotional renewal or healing that give you a sense of power and self-mastery. Opportunities arising now can be exciting, but do keep your eye out for the future and do consider the practical side of any new endeavor. Romance, creative pursuits, children, and partnerships may be involved in the process that jolts you out of your routine this year. Some of you may be tempted to jump into a new partnership.
