2010 Overview. Freedom and discovery are important themes for you in 2010, dear Pisces. You are seeking out more from life than the mundane, and this can lead you to exciting new experiences and adventures or to an uncomfortable state of discontented restlessness--it's entirely your choice! With both exciting Uranus and generous Jupiter in your sign most of the year, 2010 finds you at your most bold and intriguing. Career opportunities come knocking at your door this year, and you are looked upon more favorably from those in higher positions. You are also coming across as an authority, and being your own boss is something some of you are leaning towards. While work (and, for some of you, health) matters are complicated in the first few months of the year, 2010 brings many chances to improve your professional position in the world. Big changes are likely in the areas of finances, friendships, lovers or children, and issues of values and sharing. Finances from your own efforts, income from business, speculation, and from others (including partners) are all subject to fluctuations, and it will be especially important for you to proactively take charge of your money, and watch for impulsive risk-taking. New and valuable connections are made this year, particularly in February, and networking efforts pay off. However, friendships are not without their complications. Hold onto your money is the main advice. Those of you born late in the sign of Pisces (March 17-20) are experiencing freedom versus responsibility issues in close partnerships, and some of these relationships won't survive the tension, particularly if they are holding you back from being yourself. For others, the partnership remains but is ideally much improved, accommodating your needs much better than it did before. For those born early in the sign (February 19-24), group work and friendships are very empowering and transforming for you in 2010. Jupiter entering Pisces is particularly beneficial and significant for you, as Jupiter is now on your Sun or in your first house. From January 17th until June, and then again from September 2010 to January 2011, this transit brings improvements to your immediate environment and self-confidence as well as increased generosity to your personality. Your personality is more obviously expansive, exuberant, and enthusiastic. This transit heightens your optimism and generosity, and the entire cycle has the potential for being a relaxed, fortunate, and hopeful time in your life. You are greeting life with a fresh, can-do attitude. What happened in the past is not very important to you now--it's the future you're eyeing now. Events occur that help you to overcome problems that previously seemed challenging or even insurmountable--you have an altogether different perspective on life now, and are not inclined much to sweat the small stuff. You create a distinct first impression on others, and your likeability increases. Furthering your personal ambitions and interests comes more easily during this cycle. At times, you may feel like the sky is the limit! You might need to guard against becoming too full of yourself or overly self-interested, however. Saturn continues to transit your solar eighth house until April 7th, and then again from July 21st forward (most of the year 2010). During this cycle that began in October 2009 for most of you, you are likely to be more sensitive to what seem like outer world pressures that force you to examine some of your deepest desires and attachments. These include your sexual relationships, your finances (especially with regards to debts and shared finances), and your need for control. You may face some difficulties satisfying your libido and/or encountering problems with intimacy. These pressures are "designed" to make you more aware of your desire nature, and what exactly it is you want. Saturn returns to your solar seventh house from April 7th to July 21st, and this can bring closure to, or the need for re-evaluation of, issues you have been dealing with regarding close relationships and partnerships. Responsibilities to partners, the need to compromise, and the realities of the needs of others, have become very clear in the past couple of years. Quantity in the relationship department will have been replaced with quality in your life now, and this process likely has involved time, soul-searching, frustration, and eventual fulfillment. Pluto travels from 3 to 5-1/2 degrees of the sign of Capricorn this year, affecting only a small portion of you significantly. For those born approximately February 22-25, and those with an Ascendant of 3 to 5-1/2 degrees Pisces, Pluto sextiles your Sun in year 2010, bringing some wonderful benefits to you. Openness to the process is crucial. Eclipses this year mostly fall in your solar fifth and eleventh houses. Social and creative activity is a large focus. The need to be appreciated by others, and the need for togetherness, comes into play. A love affair may begin or end under this influence. New contacts with others may also occur. You will learn to let go of a fear of taking risks, and to develop the courage to strike out on your own individual and creative path without fear. You are called upon to deal with others in a more personal, involved, and loving manner, rather than falling back on reason and intellect, which detaches you from your feelings. This series of eclipses is about learning to take personal risks, which requires a certain amount of self-confidence. Jupiter conjuncts Uranus on June 8th and September 18th in 2010. This exciting aspect occurs in your solar second house in June and in your solar first house in September. It's a time when the need for progressive change suddenly becomes apparent. We might take risks (perhaps, but not necessarily, foolish ones) for the sake of freedom under the Jupiter-Uranus influence. We can open ourselves up to new ways of thinking now. However, we could also too easily avoid taking responsibility for things that truly matter. We're open to new energies, approaches, and attitudes.
