You were taking more comfort in time alone, and you've also been quite busy
doing things for others (and mostly happy doing so). Summer of 2010 brought a
show of independence - a burst of "I need to be free" energy - but you pulled

From January 22-June 4th, Jupiter travels your entire sign, dear Aries, and
this gives you a shot in the arm. Aries traits become full-blown after a period
of relative dormancy. It is fairly straightforward
for you to inspire trust, as you appear to be very straight to the point and
aboveboard in your dealings with people around you. However, at times you can
appear to be too impulsive, insensitive, or oblivious to others' needs. In 2011,
you are likely to be especially inspired and solitary in your manner, so this
latter part of the description is magnified! Be especially careful in 2011 that
you don't alienate others with an I-can-do-it-alone attitude.
Tensions in your close personal relationships
can arise when you stand up for yourself and say "no" to being restricted. A
partner could seem like a real heavy - rooted in the past and the ways you've
related to one another to date - while you are needing more space, more freedom,
and more respect. A partner might be putting the brakes on your need for
more freedom, or attempting to do so. Alternatively, you could sense that a
partner is disapproving, concerned or worried that he/she is losing you or your
attention to other things that seem to be more exciting. Or, a relationship
seems to be holding you back -- tying you to a past that you're trying to leave
behind. Seek creative solutions to these problems. Don't chuck out important
things and people. Try to find a balance. If you
don't have a partner, you may be especially cautious about entering into a
commitment.
This battle peaks around the end of March, 2011. Finding a balance between the
freedom urge and the need to be responsible for and towards important others in
your life is essential in 2011.
You need to open your mind to the possibility that a partner is providing you
with important life lessons - about traditions, simplifying your life, and
responsibilities. While this might seem difficult now, you might later look back
on this time of your life and think, "Oh yeah - now I see it". So do not
automatically discard what he/she has to say. Take your time on this one. If,
however, a partner is challenging you to the point of breaking (and this is more
likely to occur, if at all, in March 2011), then steps need to be taken to
improve the situation.
For those of you who are not in committed relationships, it is quite unlikely
that you'll enter a new long-term partnership or commitment rashly in 2011. Some of you
might begin one, but will do so quite cautiously and carefully. Some of you
might be attracted to older or more mature and established people as partnership
"material".
Those of you who are single might nevertheless feel some angst or pressure.
This lack in your life might suddenly seem magnified, like a gaping hole in your
