2011 Overview for all Libra. The year ahead continues to add personal responsibilities to your plate, as 2010 did, dear Libra, but 2011 also offers some real joy in others - in the first half of the year, partnering brings new discoveries, and in the second half, support (emotional and financial) comes from others as they recognize your needs. In 2010, you may have felt that you were alone and in charge. This year, you continue to learn how to stand on your own two feet, but others are more supportive. This is not to say that love relationships are smooth sailing. In fact, big changes in the dynamics of close partnerships (personal and business ones) are necessary. You will need to allow a partner more freedom and space, and there will be times when you feel that you suffer as a result (particularly when Saturn in your sign opposes Jupiter in Aries, the sign that represents "others" in your life, in March). There is no need to play the martyr. In fact, that kind of behavior is entirely frowned upon with fair-minded Saturn in your fair-minded sign. If you allow others more freedom, you should also feel free to take some for yourself. There can be joy in your partnerships, and some blessings, but also some uprooting. You are unlikely to feel that you know where you stand, and this uncertainty can be exciting but sometimes worrisome. Those of you born from October 3rd forward will feel Saturn's influence the strongest, and Saturn brings the need to take care of matters that you've left untied, unfinished, or that you've neglected altogether. The ultimate message here is to mature and to feel more in charge of your life, although you can sometimes feel singled out. Support is much easier to find from July to October. You might enjoy strong opportunities for presenting your ideas, or you could find that your influence and powers of persuasion are enhanced at this time as well. Fundamental changes in your home and/or family continue to be necessary. You might feel that you are more in a position of being in charge when it comes to family life. A long-standing influence leaves your life in 2011 - this influence has wreaked some level of havoc on your daily schedules and work. Jupiter entering Aries on January 22nd strongly affects you, as Jupiter is now in opposition to your Sun and occupying your solar seventh house, your partnership sector. From January 22nd until June 4th, you may enjoy benefits through marriage, serious partnerships, common-law partnerships, business partnerships, negotiations, and/or contractual agreements. This is a year in which you are more likely to establish, or solidify, a significant partnership; or you could be enhancing an existing relationship. You can negotiate more successfully than usual, and, if applicable, you are that much more likely to win in legal matters or other forms of official negotiations. Financial benefits could possibly come through partnerships. For most of you who are already partnered, you are likely to find more joy in close relationships due to a more easygoing and tolerant attitude towards others and partnering in general. Legal matters or challenging relationship problems from the past might more easily be resolved now, and even more casual disputes are likely to be settled during this cycle. The need for freedom in your social relationships is strong, however, and if it is not forthcoming, you could feel caged in and restless. You may find yourself taking on the role of consultant or advisor, or you could benefit from help from same. Good publicity may come your way. If your work involves the public, you can safely expect increased popularity now, or you might receive good reviews, feedback, or word-of-mouth opportunities. Jupiter then enters your solar eighth house, on June 4th and through to the end of 2011 (and beyond). During this cycle, you may see benefits in any of the areas ruled by the eighth house--joint finances, shared resources, loans, taxes, sexuality, intimacy, healing, personal transformation, research, investigation, and psychological matters. This is a time of increased psychological understanding, intimacy, and perhaps accumulation of wealth if you manage your resources well. This is an excellent time to work on financial planning and strategy. You are more capable of helping friends and loved ones who are dealing with a crisis--you can be leaned upon. Your ability to understand and accept anything that is deep in meaning or significant is enhanced now, and you instinctively realize that the path to healing is to face your fears. Saturn continues to transit your solar first house all year long. Your physical body and mannerisms are a focus during this transit. Depending on your current age, it may be a time when you feel your age or accept it. This is an excellent time for beginning health regimens, diets, and the like, simply because it is a time when you look in the mirror and see yourself clearly - not only what you want to see. Your outlook on life is more serious and responsible. In the past while, you might have reached out to others in an attempt to validate yourself, looking for ways to boost your confidence. When these attempts failed, you may have felt temporarily let down and discouraged. Rest assured that Saturn will re-work these feelings, with your help of course, until you reach a point where you have a stronger sense of self. This is a year in which you can get to that point. This transit acts to transform your self-confidence in such a way that you question the source of your confidence to date, and discover a more solid base for pulling up inner strength. Saturn here acts to rip away the superficial. Illusions about the self, the body, and personal abilities will no longer be tolerated. The end result is a newfound identity and a realistic understanding of your own limitations, and your capabilities as well. Saturn has passed its conjunction to your Sun so that the more challenging and direct influences of Saturn in your sign have dissipated in 2011. In terms of work and daily routines, you may have been moving towards a more irregular schedule. Your working hours may have become non-traditional, or you might be moving towards a more unconventional job. You have been restless with routines, and tend to answer to your own internal rhythm rather than paying attention to society's (and perhaps nature's!) rhythms. Close relationships may receive a shake-down of sorts, and you may feel that it's hard to truly rely on a partner. Lifeless or outworn relationships may become harder to bear. Some trial and error in relationships is par for the course with Uranus in this sector of your chart. People in your life may be surprised at your displays of independence. You don't care for taking orders, and any attempts to limit you are likely to be met with great resistance or downright rebelliousness on your part. Some of you may find your current partnership limiting and you could either end it or experience tension as you explore ways to break free from restriction. You are highly romantic, but also somewhat prone to self-deception--seeing what you want to see in a lover rather than what really is. Being "in love with love" is quite probable now. Love can be very romantic for you, but it can also be complicated or downright elusive! You may find yourself falling in love with someone unattainable or attached, for example; or you might attach yourself to someone who you deem needs "saving". Use some caution in this respect. For Libras born September 29-30 and October 1 or with an Ascendant of 5-7 degrees of Libra, you are experiencing a Pluto transit square to your Sun.
