The Sun conjuncts Neptune around the time of your birthday this year, and you are likely to find that your intuition is subtly enhanced. You’re often in the right place at the right time, probably because your hunches are more likely to be correct. This aspect softens your disposition somewhat, as you tune into your imaginative and artistic side. You may often rely on your instinctual judgment. This is a good year for self-improvement programs or efforts. The need to “get away from it all” -- for some peace and quiet now and again -- will be strong. A more sensitive--even mysterious--persona is projected this year, and this can attract pleasantly unusual circumstances (and people) into your life. You will want to reserve time alone--away from the hectic pace of life--for reflection, prayer, and meditation. Some may find this influence confusing, however, because they don't know exactly where they are headed. A noncommittal attitude in your personal life could leave people in your life feeling frustrated with you as you attempt to find yourself.  If this is the case, it would be wise to cut yourself some slack (not too much!). During this time, you may be unsure where to direct your willpower. You could be undergoing confusion about what you want from life, where you are headed, and how to go about satisfying your ego. There is a reason behind this "identity crisis"--you are learning to let go of ego attachments. Saturn and Neptune's influences are contradictory. While a part of you is attempting to see things for what they are, another part is hanging onto dreams and ideals. Some disillusionments and reality shifts are bound to be a part of your life this year.

Pleasant sexual tension, libidinal attraction, and playful competitiveness in relationships are also themes. Romance is in the air, as these influences increase your sensuality, sex appeal, and animal magnetism. Marriage could occur in such a year. Now is also a good time to engage in creative projects and to join with others in pursuing a common goal. If you are involved in competition, you could come out a winner.

With Venus also conjunct the Moon's North Node, you are very likely to attract loving relationships and/or new warm social contacts into your life. Your popularity increases and efforts to smooth over challenges in partnerships are more likely to succeed. This is an excellent influence for negotiations, marriage, and business partnerships.

Mars in harmonious aspect to Saturn suggests that work takes on definite shape this year, and you can see results from your efforts, or at least foresee success down the road. This gives you a sense of responsibility and a feeling of directedness and purposefulness. This is a good year to temper your energy and to exercise better judgment. It's also a good year to get and feel organized. Traditional methods work, and thoroughness brings rewards. This is a year when employing time-honored strategies works best for you. It may not be a year in which to push forward aggressively or to break new ground. In fact, you may tend to enjoy sticking to mundane tasks because it makes you feel good to accomplish things and to have something to show for your work at the end of the day. Practice or refining a technique is favored now.

In the year ahead, some confusion about where you are headed is likely as you attempt to find the right path. Obstacles that you face serve to slow you down a little, but measurable progress can be made. Your social life is bound to step up a pace or two--your personal popularity increases and new contacts can be exciting.
