 The
year ahead is one of changes and adjustments as you rearrange your overall focus
and your social life. The Sun squares Pluto around the time of your birthday, as
it did last year. You are experiencing a long-term trend in which your life path
is undergoing changes. You are likely to experience events that highlight the
necessity to share and trust. This year, events and circumstances are such that
you learn about your own personal strength. You may have to deal with
willfulness and issues of power and competition this year--in others and in
yourself. There are likely to be times when you feel on edge, volatile, or even
threatened. You may slowly uncover a new direction in your career--one that
reflects more of the “true you”. You may also experience tangles in your close
personal relationships, perhaps more so with males. Watch for jealousies and
manipulative behavior. Things will not go in your favor if you resort to tactics
to get what you want. If you have been feeling somewhat of a victim in your
relationships or job position, for example, then this will be a year when you
feel it more acutely and feel the need to do something about it. You could have
problems staying calm, cool, and collected this year.
Venus opposes Uranus around the time of your birthday. Some
disruptions in your friendships and attachments are possible this year. Unusual
attractions (to people and things) can have you acting on a whim. You may deal
with freedom versus closeness issues in your relationships. It may be that you
experience sudden changes or breakups with a friend or lover. However, the
chance of a sudden new friendship is just as likely. At the root of this is a
stronger taste for the unusual. What is familiar is less exciting to you than
what is new and different. If a relationship seems to threaten your sense of
freedom, you may have an easy time separating from it. Some fireworks in both
your social and financial lives are to be expected, keeping things fresh and
exciting. The best way to handle this energy is to open yourself up to the need
for change in your love life or with regards to how you spend and make money--or
both. Get in touch with this need for new experiences and/or attitudes so that
changes are not forced upon you.
With the Sun in positive aspect to Neptune, you could find that
your intuition is subtly enhanced this year. You’re often in the right place at
the right time, probably because your hunches are more likely to be correct.
This aspect softens your disposition somewhat, as you tune into your imaginative
and artistic side. You may often rely on your instinctual judgment. This is a
good year for self-improvement programs or efforts. The need to “get away from
it all” -- for some peace and quiet now and again -- will be strong. A more
sensitive--even mysterious--persona is projected this year, and this can attract
pleasantly unusual circumstances (and people) into your life. You will want to
reserve time alone--away from the hectic pace of life--for reflection, prayer,
and meditation.

year, which is a good energy for debate or energetic mental work. It's possible
that you may be argumentative and irritable under this influence, and
particularly impatient with vagueness. However, if this energy is applied well,

escalate into arguments.

things as well, this year. This is a good year for establishing harmony in the
