There is a magical or spiritual quality to your relationship that can be very appealing at first, but ultimately challenging if you are not careful. You may have come together due to a shared vision or interest in the arts. As a couple, you may seem to be in your own little world, and this might not be far from the truth. Compassion may have brought you together, and is likely to continue as a large theme in your relationship. You might naturally soothe one another, or share many of the same dreams and hopes. There can be a sense of making sacrifices for one another, or in order to be together. However, you might also encourage one another, usually not with intention, to escape reality, to lose focus on practical goals, or to follow unrealistic paths. There can be an odd feeling between the two of you due to a lack of definition of your relationship, and of the boundaries between you. Gradually, these things might erode your relationship, possibly to the point that you feel you have been misguided, deceived, taken advantage of, or misled. Make special effort to communicate, and don't assume that your partner knows what you mean or feel, as it is unlikely the case!

When the composite Sun is square or in opposition to composite Neptune:

A tendency to mislead one another is unlikely to be intentional, but is very likely to become an issue in your relationship nevertheless. There is a strong tendency to want to fill one another's fantasies, and in an effort to do so, one or both of you could be faking it on some level. This tendency is something to watch for, as it can eventually break down the relationship and even lead to feelings of resentment, bitterness, and disappointment. A lack of commitment or definition of your partnership is also probable with this composite aspect. There is a magical quality to this relationship, as you seem to support one another's dreams, fantasies, wishes, and hopes. You might share dreams and visions in the first place, and this could be one of the things that drew you together. There is a strong element of intuition in your association that feels wonderful, as you naturally seem to accept one another on a basic level. This relationship dynamic might be so natural and subtle that you don't always appreciate it, but if you do stop to think about it, you might honor the fact that this is a rare and special quality.

When the composite Sun is quincunx composite Neptune:
