May 2009: The signs of Aries and Taurus are emphasized in May 2009. Venus and Mars are moving through Aries, with Venus not very far behind Mars all month. Mercury turns retrograde in early Gemini on the 6th and then direct on the 30th at 23 Taurus. Saturn turns direct on the 16th. Jupiter aligns with Neptune on the 27th at 26 degrees Aquarius, just a day before Neptune is stationary retrograde. A Full Moon occurs on the 8th at 19 degrees Scorpio. A New Moon in Gemini (3 degrees) occurs on the 24th. These factors are taken into account for the horoscopes below.

Aries

You’re making up for lost time in May, dear Aries! While your love life has been complicated recently, and others may have undervalued your worth, you’re now strutting your stuff. Extremely magnetic, the world is appreciating your unique and straightforward style. The creative and dynamic energy around you is hard to resist or ignore. You have a whole new and credible vision of what you’d like to accomplish. Gifts may be forthcoming, and friends delight. It’s time to review your finances, especially with a potentially high-spending month ahead of you.

Taurus

While you’re certainly getting noticed in May, dear Taurus, there is a lot going on behind the scenes. A deliciously private love affair might figure this month, or you could be working on a creative project in solitude. Watch that you “mean what you say, and say what you mean”, because the likelihood of misunderstandings runs high. Aquarius

Focus on family, domestic life, and communications feature strongly in May, dear Aquarius. Conversations with family members you had in April are revisited this month, but care should be taken in expressing yourself with clarity, as misunderstandings are likely. However, in general, your conversational skills are superb this month, attracting more than one admirer! Romantic or creative communications figure strongly in May. Even with Mercury retrograde, you won’t be suffering from writer’s block! Ideas for increasing business income are plentiful, and a friend could be instrumental in helping you find them.

Pisces

You are likely to expand your career pursuits and business connections this month, dear Pisces. Opportunities on the career front can seem to arrive out of the blue, and could come from past connections. Impulsive buying is a real tendency this month. The potential for a financial increase is as strong as the tendency to spend your gains! Creative money-making ideas should be jotted down for future reference. A partnership requires attention, and going over recent conversations could be frustrating but necessary in order to clear up confusions.
