Void of Course Dates this Month

On December 4th, a Full Moon occurs in the sign of Gemini, awakening an urgent interest in our immediate environment and daily life. This lunation can bring sudden awareness to our lives and a rather urgent “need to know.” We may want to get an important message across, finish a communications project, or make an announcement. Travel and communications are in strong focus.
This lunation’s square to the Moon’s Nodes suggests we may be working against public sentiment or encountering difficulties drumming up support in our mission. Read more about this Full Moon on its calendar page.
On December 10th, Neptune stations and turns direct, after retrograde motion since July 4th. We may begin to face some illusions we’ve held onto, confusing situations become clearer, and our creativity soars, or at least, we are more inclined to apply our creativity in the real world. We have more faith in our own dreams and visions, in others, and in our belief systems. Increasingly, we seek inspiration from external sources. Note that this is Neptune’s final station in the sign of Pisces. Read more about this transit on its calendar page.
On December 19th, the New Moon in Sagittarius prompts a new beginning and awakens the adventurer in us. This lunation encourages a focus on goals that increase our understanding and awareness, give us the courage to expand our horizons, and gain confidence and optimism through a broader perspective. With this potent Sagittarius energy, we discover ways to transcend the details of day-to-day life and nurture our faith, hope, and vision.
This New Moon is near the midpoint of Venus and Mars and is widely conjunct both bodies, supporting our creativity, energy, and motivation levels. However, it forms a square with Saturn and Neptune, suggesting blocks to our efforts to begin anew, especially in the form of attitudes that swing from overly pessimistic to overly idealistic. Its quincunx to Uranus disrupts the flow as well, and it can result in some hesitance even with a strong desire to start fresh. We may not fully trust our inner muse. Read more about this New Moon on its calendar page.
On December 21st, Jupiter forms a square with Chiron, and this is the second of three in a set. During this period, we can find ourselves yearning for meaning and understanding, yet it’s a daunting task to align with a personal philosophy or belief system that authentically mirrors our core. Beliefs and ideas might lead us astray, or we could be confronted with a crisis of faith. Something can occur that challenges our fundamental beliefs, leaving us confused. There may be instances where we feel isolated in our opinions, visions, or future plans, as others may not understand our vision. Past decisions that once seemed wise may now appear questionable. We might encounter a person or obstacle that disrupts our lives, but these experiences ultimately serve as critical lessons in self-belief and understanding our purpose. Mindlessly following something that doesn’t serve our purpose can lead us astray. Before embarking on new business endeavors, it’s best to pause and reflect. This is a time for reorganizing and reassessing our goals, beliefs, path, and personal philosophy. We should watch for overdoing and overcompensating. This Month’s Overview Horoscopes
The following horoscopes outline how the above astrological influences might affect each individual sign.
Overview horoscopes fill in here as I write them, ideally during the week before the month begins. It is not unusual to see some signs temporarily missing as I write the twelve of them over the course of a few days, starting with the featured sign of the month (birthday month).
Aries
The desire for a break from your usual routine is powerful this month, dear Aries. Mind-expanding experiences are a stronger draw. This is a month in which you can be more experimental, spontaneous, and adventurous than usual, and your need to "get away from it all" is powerful. Still, the month builds to a more ambitious, goal-oriented period as it advances. New opportunities and experiences can come through or with friends and group associations this month. It's a strong time to clear up matters related to shared finances or other forms of support and iron out educational or travel plans. Finances this month look solid in general - money worries are dissipating. Travel or educational plans have a better chance of coming together after the 16th, when Mercury exits its shadow. The Full Moon on the 4th can bring deadlines, errands, and paperwork to your attention. If you’ve been skimming over your daily affairs, it’s a time to bring back more balance to your life. This Full Moon reminds you to take care of your daily affairs to free yourself up to satisfy your yen for more meaningful activities. With Neptune ending its retrograde on the 10th, you’ll be reviewing which elements of your life need to go on a shelf. Over the coming weeks, you’ll find that counting on your intuition comes naturally after a period of questioning or second-guessing certain things. Information and signals you’re receiving are more reliable, or it may be that your ability to process them increases. Believing what you hope is true can take you too far away from the reality of situations, but you can never truly deceive yourself. Believing a lie you’re telling yourself can wear away at your confidence — in yourself, in others, and in life itself. It can feel good to rid yourself of such burdens. This marks the final leg of Neptune's lengthy transit of your privacy sector. In January, Neptune will leave this area of your solar chart for good, and it will visit your sign. There is wonderful energy for discovery and self-expression in the first half of December. You are looking at the world around you, yourself, and situations with increasing confidence and positivity. Your ability to take things as they come is attractive, and your positive attitude tends to attract attention. You may feel inspired by a particular topic, piece of news, or promising opportunity. People want to be around you and catch some of the good vibes. You are inclined to be a little philosophical, and sharing ideas and experiences with others can be fulfilling. Benefits come from reaching out and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. The New Moon on the 19th further stirs and speaks to your adventurous spirit. There can be a feeling of confidence taking over, making it a strong time to explore new topics and ideas. The landscape shifts as the month advances. Mars climbs to the top of your solar chart on the 15th, the Sun on the 21st, and Venus on the 24th. Mercury will move in on January 1st. It’s a strong lineup in your career and reputation sector. You are more ambitious, dynamic, and engaged, although possibly a little impulsive now. Career goals can certainly be in focus, but this energy can also apply to other lofty objectives related to your overall life path. You're taking charge of your responsibilities and taking the lead, and you're doing it with style and charm. |
Taurus
You can easily become absorbed in your private life this month, dear Taurus, and relationships smooth over and deepen. Passion, intimacy, partnership, learning, friendship, and adventure make up the broader themes of December and are areas of increased focus and opportunity. Research and strategy are themes. Sharing your interests or studies can be fun and fulfilling later in the month, while the first two weeks find you more introspective. The Full Moon on the 4th brings your attention to a money matter or your resources. It’s a time for recognizing your needs, and with more clarity about your feelings, you’ll have a better idea of your next step. Opportunities to advance business and financial goals can arise now. You might also be asserting your independence in surprising ways, or you're demanding respect in a situation where you've felt underappreciated. Feelings are more intense than usual this month, but not uncomfortably so. In fact, you are more willing to explore your deeper emotions and desires. Love can be complicated and mysterious. By the last week of the month, your love life is more straightforward, and you express your feelings unreservedly. Travel, higher education, cultural events, and other experiences that broaden your horizons are in high focus from the middle of December onward. These themes will continue to make headlines into the new year. Until then, you’re more confident in your private feelings and needs, as well as in close relationships. You can resolve emotional predicaments, or, if not fix, find peace with your problems. You might decide to share a burden or secret with a trusted person or find some other form of satisfying release for issues that have been weighing you down. Your tendency is to see the hidden layers or elements of a situation to your advantage since you know how to work out a problem from the inside out. Relationship dynamics and negotiations are likely to improve this month. Nevertheless, there is much activity and concern in the areas of shared finances, emotional and financial support, and intimate matters, and complications can sometimes arise. Still, it's an excellent period for resolving to clear up debts and getting started on a new and improved financial plan. Buried anger or resentment can sometimes emerge when least expected. If so, aim to manage these matters fearlessly rather than sweeping problems under the carpet. Neptune turns direct on the 10th, and in the coming weeks, you’re building your faith in your friendships, goals, and alliances. Neptune is still Neptune, however, and some aspects of these areas of your life can remain up in the air. Even so, you feel less as if you are in limbo and more confident about where to put your trust. You might hear from a friend after a long absence or pick up an old project and begin reworking it. Note that this marks the last leg of Neptune's lengthy visit of your social sector--it will move on for good in January! With the power of the New Moon on the 19th, you might make a lifestyle change or an otherwise empowering move. This lunation increases your courage and motivation to pursue goals, especially those related to self-mastery and improvement. The landscape changes significantly as December progresses. Mars moves into harmony with your sign and into your spirit sector on the 15th, and the Sun and Venus follow suit on the 21st and 24th, respectively. Mercury will enter this area of your solar chart on January 1st. These moves promote adventure, non-routine and spirit-lifting activities, travel, learning, or sharing ideas. As such, your desire to make exciting connections increases, and your passion for a new idea, subject, course of study, or travel destination can come into the spotlight in the second half of the month. You’re ready to share your enthusiasm with others, and you’re more experimental, spontaneous, and adventurous than usual. You're likely to connect with the spirit and motivation to embark on interesting adventures. Love can be found or enhanced through experiences and ventures beyond the usual routine. |
Gemini
Close relationships are in strong focus this month and the next, dear Gemini. Especially in the first half of December, energies are on your side for improving your connections with others and your relationship with yourself. Circumstances are such that you see the value of negotiations, joining forces, and compromise this month. There can be an emphasis on public relations, consultants, pairing up, and finding balance. One-on-one relationships and best friends can be in strong focus. The bottom line is that working with others rather than competing against them in your personal life works best at this time. It's also a good time to complete projects that you've recently had difficulties finishing. Your willingness to adapt to changing situations is your major key to success at the moment. This is not to say that you don't have any say in what happens to you - it just means that December is a month for putting more energy into important people in your life. You benefit from others' cooperation in order to achieve your goals. Close relationships and partnerships are fired up and demanding, and changes are a must. Relationships can become even more exciting, exotic, dramatic, and intimate towards the end of the month, or your focus on a particular endeavor strengthens, and you’re especially motivated and determined. A congregation of planets in your sector of intimacy and shared resources suggests intensity and concentration of energy later in December. Until then, however, energies are rather light and friendly. Partnering or teaming up with someone can be particularly beneficial, and a relationship can improve tremendously by focusing on long-term happiness goals. Still, the emotional Full Moon on the 4th is in your sign, and feelings bubble up to the surface. Epiphanies about your needs occur now as you recognize feelings you may have buried due to busyness or distraction. This lunation puts you in the spotlight — you are in demand! Knowing your heart is empowering, even if you don’t yet have a plan set in stone to go after what you want. Neptune turns direct on the 10th after retrograde motion since July, and you may feel as if you’re getting over a hump. In the weeks ahead, you’ll gradually rebuild your faith in matters related to career, long-term plans, and your ability to meet your responsibilities. This is not about gaining crystal-clear vision, but rather about reinvesting your faith in the dreams that serve you well. Even if you are not clear in your direction, you are likely to feel more confident that things will unfold as they should. Neptune’s lengthy transit of your goals-and-career sector is coming to an end (in January), and it's been about letting go of too-rigid expectations and believing more fully in your capabilities. Your reputation or professional image can improve as you do. It’s been a good time for bringing more imagination and inspiration into the work you do. With Neptune's direct move now, a career project may begin to move forward after some lagging. The chances of smoothing over a disagreement or attracting the support you need are high, particularly later in the month. You’re working on making your connections healthier and happier, and you have cosmic support for this task. Energies tend to nudge you towards breakthroughs in your relationships. The New Moon on the 19th brings new energy for forming or improving a partnership. It’s also strong for seeing yourself through others’ eyes, taking steps to strengthen your connections with others, and finding ways to bring more balance and harmony to your life, in general. Focusing on connecting well with others can give your life a real boost. The month’s focus shifts as bodies begin moving into your solar eighth house. Mars moves into this area of your chart on the 15th, and the Sun and Venus on the 21st and 24th. Juno heads in on the 29th, and on January 1st, Mercury will as well. Certainly, December’s energies strengthen for attending to a passion project or an intimate relationship. It’s also an intense time for strategy and research–something you can pour yourself into wholeheartedly. Finances deserve or require special attention, mainly shared money and property, as well as loans and support. It's a powerful time for emotions and desires, particularly if you've buried something and you're now connecting with it. It can be a time for being brave and honest with yourself, and perhaps some excitement and courage with a special person. |
Cancer
A strong focus on your health and work routines continues this month, dear Cancer. You’re more conscientious, and you enjoy solving problems, acquiring or honing skills, and taking care of business. It's a powerful period for recognizing the smaller problems that can bring down systems, and taking them on! Close partnerships begin to heat up towards mid-month, and your attention shifts to significant others even more so by the 21st. As such, as December progresses, you're increasingly turning your attention to your social life or partnering. You’re ready to resolve problems that were overwhelming last month–the information you need arrives, or delays abate. In many ways, you’re busy working in the background in the first half of the month. You can be particularly inspired by a work or health pursuit, project, or lifestyle adjustment. If you provide services, you’re in a strong position to receive positive feedback. You’re in great shape for picking up new practical skills, finding new work, or throwing more of yourself into your current job. It’s also a fine time for improving your daily habits and health. The Full Moon on the 4th can awaken you to feelings you’ve kept at bay. Hunches seem accurate at this time. This lunation reminds you to pay special attention to rest and spiritual nourishment. If you’ve been overworking or neglecting your emotional health, you now receive the message to slow down and balance things out. Neptune ends its retrograde on the 10th, and following this date, you’re likely to feel reenergized on spiritual levels. As you advance, you’re building the faith that you’re headed in the right direction, even if the goal isn't explicitly defined. Neptune has been a long-term guest in your solar ninth house, and you've been learning that you don’t always need clarity to embrace living. While you may have been wrestling with a tendency to procrastinate recently, you’re now inspired to reach a little higher. Travel, educational, or publishing matters, plans, and decisions may begin to move forward now. You’re less distracted, and your belief in yourself and life itself is growing. More and more, you believe in your dreams. There can be a turning point in a project or an attitude/perspective. Note that Neptune will finish up this lengthy transit of your spirit sector in January, this time for good. Until then, it's a powerful time to digest some of its lessons. You have increasing faith in the services you provide or the work you do, and the New Moon on the 19th stirs a desire or need for a new beginning regarding work, health, or self-care. It’s time to approach your daily life in a new, more inspired way. You could be making valuable changes to your diet, adopting healthier routines, and creating satisfying work schedules. You are approaching a power period for relationships. From the 15th onward, a significant shift in focus begins as planets start moving out of your sector of work and health, and into your partnership sector. That's when Mars heads the way, followed by the Sun and Venus on the 21st and 24th. Juno arrives on the 29th, and Mercury will join in on January 1st. You tend to bring out strong reactions and emotions in others, whether or not it’s your intention! Someone special in your life challenges you to experience new things, or your relationship goals motivate you. You're magnetizing people to you now. There can be impulsiveness in relationships, but also some interesting changes and excitement. Aim to be open to new ideas and stimulation, but experiment wisely and creatively. Your desire for companionship increases. It’s a time for pursuing what you truly want in the relationship department. |
Leo
You’re getting in touch with your need to enjoy and express yourself this month, dear Leo. Your powers of attraction run very high, and so does your creativity. The first half of December can find you primarily interested in enjoying more expressive, leisurely, creative, or romantic pursuits with a strong showing of planets in your solar sector of joy. However, as these bodies enter your house of habits and routines as the month progresses, your focus shifts to addressing problems and pursuing health and work goals. You’re rediscovering your sense of fun, especially in the first half of the month, and you very often feel in your element. Recreation, romance, creativity, hobbies, or children can be sources of increased pride, and involvement in these areas of life is on the rise. The Full Moon on the 4th can bring a surprise on a social level to your life. It opens your heart to the need for true friendship. Unrecognized feelings can emerge, and these emotions may be about someone or can serve to rekindle an interest in a project that you haven’t yet fully pursued. You can feel inspired to do your best or pursue a dream upon a friend’s encouragement. Neptune turns direct on the 10th after many months of retrograde motion, helping to mobilize a financial matter. If you’ve been experiencing confusion about boundaries with others or with your own limits, you’re now turning a corner. While you may not gain complete clarity just yet, you’ll feel less in need of answers, and perhaps less overwhelmed. This Neptune shift is empowering, as days of procrastination on finances and dependencies are nearing an end. In the weeks ahead, you’re likely to rebuild faith in your ability to work through problem areas. While Neptune has been in this area of your solar chart for years, this is the last stretch of its lengthy transit. In January, Neptune will move on permanently from your solar eighth house, and until then, you might take moments to meditate on how it's changed your view of power dynamics, intimacy, and shared assets. Your feelings for someone can expand and grow this month, and a person who’s holding a torch for you may express their appreciation. The New Moon on the 19th sparks your creative juices or desire to celebrate. Events occurring now can serve as motivation to begin, restart, or reinvigorate a project, hobby, or your dating life. As the month advances, the focus shifts quite dramatically to work and health endeavors as one planet after another heads into your solar sixth house. Mars leads the way on the 15th, followed by the Sun and Venus on the 21st and 24th. Mercury will follow suit, but on January 1st. These influences emphasize your daily affairs, routines, work, health pursuits, services, pets, or habits, and these themes are strong heading into the new year, as well. Work can be lively, and your daily grind is not entirely as predictable, but not chaotic either as you close the month (and year). Health and fitness routines can benefit from creative or holistic approaches now. You're pouring more energy into your job, chores, and wellness endeavors. Be open and willing to make meaningful changes, while being mindful of overly hasty actions. Channeling your passion into productive pursuits can be wonderfully satisfying now. Duties, chores, or work can be more joyful and pleasurable. It can also be a time to come together with someone and make things happen, whether as a fitness or work partner. |
Virgo
December features a special focus on your personal world, dear Virgo. Home life is animated, but you also have a strong drive to bring more harmony and calm to your domestic world. Virtually every other area of your life will benefit in some way if you are at peace on the home front, and this seems to be your priority. While your attention draws mostly towards personal matters, domestic affairs, and family, the Full Moon on the 4th can encourage you to perform and produce as it illuminates your sector of career, responsibility, and reputation. This month, you can feel much enthusiasm building, primarily along emotional lines. A feeling of support, whether you gain backing or enjoy helping others, is uplifting. Personal matters, intimate relationships, and family or household matters are in particularly good form. You can feel eager to put an obstacle behind you. It’s a time for asking yourself what you can improve to make your life better all around. You may feel inspired by your deeper connections with a person or project, family connections, and realizations or discoveries about psychological issues. There can be some important renovations and improvements in your home or with family relationships. You're putting more energy, pride, and love into your domestic affairs, and you can accomplish much with this combination. On the 10th, Neptune turns direct after retrograde motion since July. You can be turning a corner regarding decisions about who and what you want in your life. The process of learning about your relationship needs is ongoing, and it’s not always very clear. As Neptune has spent years in your partnership sector, there have been several peaks and valleys along the way, and now you’re heading towards one of the peaks. As much as possible, be honest with yourself, but don’t bog yourself down with doubt or negativity — aim instead to refine and improve your dreams. While this shift isn’t about more clarity, you’re rebuilding your faith as you seek out more suitable dreams or sources of inspiration. In truth, Neptune will move on from this area of your solar chart for good in January, and the journey until then can be about digesting the lessons of this mysterious, boundary-busting, imaginative influence. With the New Moon on the 19th, you can be especially motivated to improve your comfort or strive toward more ideal conditions in your personal life. It can be an inspired time to release negative or pent-up feelings and enjoy more authentic interactions with others. Romance and pleasure-seeking are in sharper focus as December progresses. Mars heads into your sector of joy on the 15th, and the Sun and Venus follow on the 21st and 24th. Mercury will begin its visit on January 1st. As such, your focus is shifting to more creative, friendly, and pleasure-seeking activities. You are on fire in the personal appeal department in the last week of the month, and you are more aware of–and awake to–the world around you. Your courage builds, especially when it comes to sharing yourself with others, and creative enthusiasm is with you. It's a dynamic period for personal relationships and self-expression. Your social life is busy and active. Leisure time is incredibly satisfying. Resolve to find ways to make more time to do what pleases you most! |
Libra
December's themes are making connections, learning, communications, and enjoying special interests, dear Libra. You’re putting your feelers out and especially curious about what’s going on around you. Finances, business, studies, communications, and transportation are flowing more naturally this month, and this can be a relief. This month is excellent for reaching out, though there may be times when you feel you have too much on your plate, and you can be scattered as a result. You are expressing yourself with more charm, and you are less hurried both in speech and movement as you begin the month. You have the opportunity to smooth over troubled areas with siblings, acquaintances, and even neighbors if necessary. The lines of communication open with others. You are building up your confidence in--or enthusiasm for--a project, a course of study, an idea, or a pursuit in the first half of the month. With others around you responding well, you feel even more motivated. The Full Moon on the 4th is a call to expand your interests and experiences, particularly if you’ve been too focused on your personal life or caught up in your daily affairs. Unexpected transportation issues, whether local or long-distance, could redirect you in interesting ways. Your need for more from life strengthens. You might arrive at a turning point or a revelation about communications, learning, education, travel, attitude, outlook, or publishing, setting you on a fresh path. It’s a time to recognize a need to branch out and refresh your spirit. Neptune ends its retrograde cycle on the 10th, and you’re renewing your faith in what you’re doing or in the idea that more meaningfulness is to come. Your efforts to improve your work, health, and daily routines will continue to grow in the weeks ahead, helping clear your mind of guilt or worry. Your life doesn’t straighten out overnight with Neptune’s change of direction, but you feel a little more confident that you can turn around some problems. In fact, Neptune has been a guest in your sector of work, health, and habits for many years, and in January, it will move on. As such, this marks the final stretch of this transit, and it's a great time to digest some of this transit's lessons. With the New Moon on the 19th, a new lease on learning endeavors and communications are in store. Innovative ideas may take root now. Establishing mental rapport with others can be in focus and hugely rewarding. Increasingly, your home and family life come into sharp focus as the month advances. Making memories with family and getting rest climb to the top of your priority list. Domestic life is likely to be animated at times, but mostly in a pleasurable way. The shift in focus begins with Mars entering your home and family sector on the 15th. The Sun and Venus move into this area of your solar chart on the 21st and 24th, respectively. Mercury will follow, but will enter this sector on January 1st. Themes related to your personal life and domestic world are strong, and they will follow you into the new year. This is a period for making discoveries, particularly on the feeling level or concerning relationships. Creative problem-solving in your domestic life or inner world is a theme. Getting rid of clutter in your home can be especially helpful for improving your outlook. This can also play out on another level as you let go of emotional “clutter” to free space in your heart and soul for new opportunities. Special activities with family or refreshed living conditions can be themes. |
Scorpio
You’ll find a great need to settle in and adopt a gentle pace this month, dear Scorpio, but as the month advances, your curiosity increases. This can be a slightly indulgent month in the meantime, as your interest in comfort is active, and you want to enjoy what you have. However, you're also willing to take action to make your life more comfortable! Fortunately, you more readily attract the things you want and need right now. The Full Moon on the 4th can bring a reminder of overspending, but it can also be a time when you have cause to celebrate. You may be settling your accounts or connecting with blossoming feelings in your love life. Neptune turns direct on the 10th, and you can feel reinvigorated on creative and romantic levels as you advance. You’re encouraged to believe in your dreams or to clear your mind of dreams that no longer serve you well so that you can make room for new ones. Confusion in your life in recent months may have stemmed from avoiding getting in touch with your heart on a matter. Now, you’re listening to your heart, even if you don’t have all the answers just yet. A creative project, cherished hobby, or romantic friendship may show signs of progress. Note that this is officially the last leg of Neptune's very lengthy transit of your sector of romance and creativity — it will move on in January. You’re more focused on your needs this month, and this is a necessary and useful process when done in moderation. You’re getting your bearings! You’re ready to make the most of a situation, or you’re willing to take slow and steady steps to improve your life. You have no interest in pushing things, and this attitude works well for you at this time — pacing yourself makes sense. As you slow down, savor, and observe, you may see what was blocking you in the past. This can be a time to gain your footing, build your resources, and develop your talents. You have a lot of power this month to earn and attract the resources you need to live more comfortably. In the first three weeks of December, you're taking more interest in money matters and personal resources. The New Moon on the 19th brings take-charge energy for these matters, and the week following it is excellent for making money and also for acquiring new things. This can be a time for bonuses and raises in some cases. You may be ready to commit to the money-making ideas you've been pondering, or you feel it's time to take charge of your finances and to believe in your worth and value. As the month advances, you can be brimming with ideas and perhaps discovering all-new interests that inspire and motivate you. You are especially passionate about your ideas, and you enjoy sharing them with others. Speaking, writing, and learning are in sharp focus. Mars moves into your communication sector on the 15th, and the Sun and Venus head in on the 21st and 24th. You'll greet the new year with these influences in tow, and Mercury will join the line-up on January 1st. As such, you become more interactive as December progresses! Influences now boost your personal appeal in your communications, and conversations can stand out. Mental stimulation and variety are what you seek. You could be the go-to person for information and know-how. Exploring different ways of relating and communicating can be satisfying. Efforts to learn or develop skills are in favor. |
Sagittarius
December brings solid energy for reinventing yourself, dear Sagittarius. Your powers of attraction run very high, especially the 1st and 18th, and generally, with Venus in your sign until the 24th and Mars to the 15th. You certainly possess extra charm this month. It’s a good time for updating your personal presentation, as well as envisioning what you’d like to make of the year ahead. December's strengths for you are especially evident with personal influence, goal-setting, and finances. Last month, Mercury was retrograde in your sign, then retreated into your privacy sector. This month, Mercury returns to your sign on the 11th, and you're clearer and more decisive. Your confidence in yourself means everything now. You've been a little tight-lipped of late, but you have a lot more to say now - you want to be heard, and you will be. The New Moon on the 19th launches a period of increased personal power and charisma. This gives you the green light to begin moving personal projects ahead. You are bolder than usual and motivated to pursue what you want and to prove your value. There may be job offers and opportunities, or perhaps even significant gifts or bonuses. But first, the Full Moon on the 4th can bring a whirlwind of emotion and activity with a close partner. This can mark a turning point for a key relationship. You can be excited about bringing something to a new level or breaking new ground. Revelations and epiphanies are likely. Neptune turns direct on the 10th, and taking care of family or home-related issues comes naturally. The inner troubleshooting you’ve been doing is starting to pay off as you regain some sense of direction and determination. Note that when Neptune moves out of this area of your solar chart in January, it leaves it forever, so this is the final stretch. People enjoy your company and seek you out this month. It’s an excellent time to build bridges or enhance current relationships. You feel freer to express yourself, and you’re focusing on renewal and creative refreshment. It can be a time to resolve a business or money problem, or an issue of respect or ownership in a relationship. Attention frequently turns to your gracious and attractive qualities, but people also appreciate your take-charge qualities. Others seem to be in your corner, especially after the 11th, and an important meeting of minds can occur. Your powers of attraction skyrocket, and outstanding creative opportunities arise. You could be the go-to person for information and know-how. Certainly, December could be a slightly indulgent month—your desire for comfort or luxury items can sometimes be strong. The need to act upon your desires can sometimes feel urgent with Mars in your sign until the 15th. Your taste for the new and untested is powerful. As the month advances, you are entering a brilliant period for increasing your earning power. You’ll be busy taking charge of your finances. Money-making opportunities are likely to present themselves, and the motivation to take advantage of them increases. Opportunities to advance business and financial goals can arise in the second half of the month. You might also be asserting your independence in surprising ways. For example, if others have been confining or criticizing you, this can be a time when you defend yourself and demand fairer treatment. You’re seeking greater financial independence. |
Capricorn
While the month can begin quietly for you, dear Capricorn, as you are a little more private and withdrawn right now, December progresses with more decisiveness, energy, and confidence. As well, there is much to learn from solitude and increased rest. It's a time of great intuition — of sorting out recent experiences and realigning your personal goals. The first few weeks of December favor personal introspection and more — or better — quality downtime. You may often find yourself acting independently rather than going with the flow and blending in. It's an important time for finding opportunities to recharge. You might now recognize things you’ve missed, reflect on the past year, and envision how you’d like to proceed in the future. With Mercury's retrograde behind you, communicate, but avoid publicizing ideas until you are entirely clear about them. The 21st brings the Sun into your sign and the start of a personal power period. You also have Mars entering Capricorn on the 15th, and Venus on the 24th, and each ingress is a form of awakening. Even Juno enters your sign on the 29th, and on January 1st, Mercury will as well. Essentially, this means you’re building strength to start fresh in many different life departments. People are noticing you more than usual, and you feel stronger and more capable. The ball seems to be in your court in most ways. If you need to reinvent yourself or bring a new presentation of yourself to the world, you're gearing up to do so. Until then, you have a lot of energy in your privacy sector–more so than usual at this time of year. Fortunately, healing power is with you for your emotional world, personal life, and home and family matters. You are making peace with the past, perhaps closing out a tense period or putting a big issue behind you. Enjoying comforting surroundings can be a theme. The Full Moon on the 4th could prompt a scramble to meet deadlines or deal with work or health matters. You may be saying goodbye to something, figuratively speaking, and clearing the decks for new beginnings with the New Moon on the 19th. This lunation may push you on a new path of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment, which can come in very handy once the Sun is in your sign from the 21st onward. Getting comfortable with your inner needs and desires should be the goal, and understanding and processing recent events are part of this. Neptune ends its retrograde cycle on the 10th, and in the weeks ahead of this date, you’ll be rebuilding your faith in your projects, learning, studies, and relationships. You’re more likely to share your ideas and inspiration with others, and less inclined to procrastinate or question your goals and dreams. Some misconceptions may come to light, but you’re gaining more confidence in your creative process. This could push ahead a learning, writing, or transportation issue that has been in limbo. Note that Neptune will move on permanently from your communication sector in January, so this is the last stretch! It's time to tie up loose ends. From the 15th forward, your energy levels run high (sometimes too high), and your pioneering instincts are strong. From the 21st to the 24th, the Sun and Venus head into your sign, and others are taking note. It's a fabulous period for charm and attractiveness. You have increased energy for personal plans and experience a resurgence of vitality. |
Aquarius
December should be busy and rewarding, dear Aquarius, with a quieter, more reflective theme building as the month progresses. As you begin December, you're often focusing on matters outside yourself — your social life, happiness pursuits, and business. Connections with friends, groups, or colleagues are in focus, with a possibility of finding romance through group connections, friends, or friends of friends. The Full Moon on the 4th is a heart-happy one, serving to awaken your desires and romantic or creative impulses, and perhaps your feelings about someone as well. Your personal life and projects deserve some attention. Feelings are full and rich, and hard to ignore! Neptune ends its retrograde in your resources sector on the 10th for the last time. In fact, in January, it will leave this area of your solar chart for good. In the coming weeks, you could see your material affairs strengthening. Faith in your ability to handle your responsibilities builds, as well as in making the living you want or attracting the right resources to you. It’s a time of reinvigoration of your spirit, imagination, and perhaps your more fanciful dreams or plans. You’re putting more faith in your intuition with business and financial matters. A money matter that was stuck or in limbo may release and progress forward. While your relationship with your money, income, talents, and resources has been an ongoing journey with several peaks and valleys as Neptune has transited your solar second house for years, this trek is nearing its end. You are on a path of self-discovery through the people you align yourself with this month. You'll benefit from working on clearing up any problems that have cropped up with friends. December also brings improved communications on the job. With Mars in your solar twelfth house from the 15th forward, you can feel compelled to do something about a situation that has been burdensome. It’s a time to review the past or the sacrifices you are making in the present. During this cycle, you’re a little less energetic as your priorities shuffle around, or you're wrapping up a project. However, in the first half of the month, you often pull out of yourself to connect, chat, mingle, or network, and these things can bring you opportunities. You’re more willing than usual to see the positive side of any given situation. Feeling unusually hopeful about a goal or idea can boost your mood. You are in a fantastic position to brainstorm, team up, collaborate, and share ideas and plans, perhaps improving them or simply enjoying the process. The New Moon on the 19th speaks to your enterprising nature and to your dreams and aspirations. It can be a good time for new technological endeavors. This lunation brings new energy to friendships and long-term goals. This is a time for feeling personally hopeful, emotionally satisfied, and socially popular. Friendships might be renewed or revitalized. As the month progresses, more and more attention turns to your privacy sector. First, Mars enters this house of your solar chart on the 15th, then comes the Sun on the 21st, followed by Venus on the 29th. Mercury will only arrive in this area of your chart on January 1st. Still, there's much attention to behind-the-scenes or under-the-radar activities, downtime, emotional replenishment, healing, and tying up loose ends. You're receiving strong prompts to pay more attention to your needs for rest and recuperation. There can be some limbo or mystery now. |
Pisces
Support for your career, or a whole new vision of where you want your professional life to go, is possible in December, dear Pisces. Career matters can be fruitful, and the New Moon on the 19th ties it all together. Instead, this can be about life-plan goals. However, the month features a building theme of community, networking, friendships, and the pursuit of happiness goals as it progresses. You’re inclined to keep up appearances with the rest of the world with a high concentration of energy in your solar sector of career, goals, responsibilities, and reputation. It’s a time of year for extra attention to your objectives and the rules! You're checking in with these things. A project, business, or financial matter can excite and motivate you. Hurdles seem smaller or less significant as a result. You are extraordinarily resourceful, and there can be good favor, referrals, or other forms of reward, recognition, or help involving parents, bosses, people in authority, or associates. But around the Full Moon on the 4th, your domestic world, objectives, and needs are calling. This lunation can prompt more attention to your personal life, family, or to your need for quiet, safety, and familiarity. Be sure to recharge so that you can give other areas of life your “all.” Full Moons are always reminders of achieving balance. Neptune turns direct on the 10th after retrograde motion since July. This shift contributes to greater well-being, as you can feel reinvigorated on a spiritual level in the weeks ahead. You may be approaching the world in new, more empowered ways. There can also be forward motion in projects or personal plans, or you have more confidence and faith in your dreams. You’re inspired to make the changes and tweaks that you’ve been considering in recent months. Feedback now gives you the chance to make helpful edits. You may be inspired to reach for greater heights. Note that this marks the final leg of Neptune's very lengthy transit of your sign, and it's monumental! In January, it will leave your sign for good. Now is the time to consider what this transit has meant to you, and what lessons you might carry forward with you once it's over. The New Moon on the 19th brings fresh energy for career and reputation matters. As well, the second half of the month is more auspicious for clearing up misunderstandings with authority figures if there were problems in November. Your sector of happiness goals, dreams, hopes, friends, community, and groups becomes exceptionally active as the month advances. Mars moves into this sector on the 15th, followed by the Sun on the 21st, Venus on the 24th, and Juno on the 29th. Mercury will join in on January 1st. This means a distinct move from a business or serious frame of mind to a social focus as December advances. Friendships and group connections are lively. You have much to discover from and through others, even impersonal connections. Love requires emotional space and acceptance. You may find love through friends or groups, or you're pouring more love into your connections and enjoying more interaction with people outside family, work, and partnership. These relationships have different energy, and they're in focus at this time. It’s a perfect time for connecting with people who inspire you or who you inspire. In fact, there can be a mutual fan club situation happening now. It's also a time of increasing desire for personal freedom. |

Horoscopes for the Month
Void of Course Dates this Month

On November 5th, a Full Moon occurs in the sign of Taurus, awakening an urgent interest in the physical world and our own sensual needs and desires. The Moon in Taurus guides us to seek emotional fulfillment through the simple, tangible things in life, while the Scorpio Sun draws our attention to complexities, intangibles, and mysteries. The Full Moon reveals the conflict between form and transformation, as well as between collecting and sharing.
We should be mindful of stubbornness at this time, while also recognizing that a healthy dose of self-interest is not only necessary but also empowering. It’s a time to embrace our needs for comfort and predictability, and to connect with issues in our lives surrounding money, personal income, valuables, and self-worth as we boost our self-awareness. Read more about this Full Moon on its calendar page.
On November 7th, retrograde Uranus returns to the sign of Taurus, and will finish up its transit of Taurus by April 25th, 2026. Uranus turned retrograde while still in the sign of Gemini on September 6th, 2025. Now, while still retrograde, Uranus returns to the sign of Taurus–its last visit before moving on. On February 3rd, 2026, Uranus will end its retrograde and turn direct. Read more about this transit on its calendar page.
Mercury is retrograde from November 9th to 29th. Mercury turns retrograde in the sign of Sagittarius on the 9th and will remain retrograde until the 29th. Mercury is retrograde from November 9th to 18th in the sign of Sagittarius, when it returns to the sign of Scorpio.
This retrograde cycle, while in Sagittarius, is strong for reviewing our beliefs, ideas, sense of adventure, spirit, publishing pursuits, and educational goals. We look at projects, items, situations, problems, and even people in new ways. There can be information clogs that push this new perspective–as we wait, we become more resourceful and creative!
During this retrograde cycle, we may reconsider a long-term dream or vision of our future, and it’s a strong period for revisiting an old study, writing project, or personal interest. This can be a time of scattered thoughts and mental disarray, however. The tactlessness of Mercury in Sagittarius magnifies, making it necessary to be especially careful with our choice of wording and topics. The chances of being misinterpreted and missing deadlines or appointments run higher than usual, even more so than with other Mercury retrograde cycles.
With Mercury retrograde in Scorpio in the second part of the retrograde cycle, from the 18th to the 29th, good energy is with us for getting in touch with our instincts, motivations, and “dark” side. Now is the time to explore our more intimate and emotional natures and consider how these affect our decision-making processes. An increased sensitivity or emotional radar is likely. We should be mindful not to fall into a paranoid frame of mind or read too much negativity into what others say, however. In a general sense, retrograde Mercury periods send us to the past for more or previously hidden information. They’re cycles for learning to let go of control, and for thinking about issues in a brand new way. Read more about this transit on its calendar page.
On the 11th, Jupiter stations and turns retrograde in the sign of Cancer, and will remain retrograde until March 10th, 2026. Slowing down projects or plans may be appropriate in order to gain perspective. Initially, our enthusiasm and confidence might wane, and we may experience a crisis of faith or hope. “Luck” may be less overt during this period from November 11th to March 10th, but it’s a good time for looking within and reassessing recent goals. Recognizing areas of excess or extravagance can help us. We may need to slow down specific endeavors if they’ve been moving too quickly, or this happens organically. Note that Jupiter spends its retrograde in the sign of Cancer. Read more about Jupiter turning retrograde on its calendar page.
On November 20th, the New Moon in Scorpio prompts a new beginning and encourages us to move out of our comfort zone to welcome new ways to live, heal, and transform. It’s a time to take a good look at what we may have chosen to sweep under the carpet. Making room to understand others’ motives can enrich our feelings of intimacy, forgiveness, and sense of meaning. We might want to use this cycle to focus on and develop one special project or relationship, helping to add purposefulness and depth to our lives. Intimate relationships need a brand new approach, and we can see this more clearly in the days following this New Moon.
This New Moon closely aligns with retrograde Mercury, making it challenging to see our path, but our discomfort with the past can be very real now, motivating us to seek new beginnings. With its opposition to Uranus, we should be mindful of potential prematurity and abrupt changes or rebellious tendencies. However, it can also be a courageous and proactive time. The desire to change and improve our lives is a powerful motivator. This New Moon engages with many planets and major bodies, also drawing in the support of Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto. Read more about this New Moon on its calendar page.
Also on November 20th, Uranus forms a sextile with Neptune. This is the first of five in this set (as with many outer-planet transits, this aspect repeats multiple times over the course of many months). During the period influenced by this outer-planet transit with its longer-term effects, we’re seeking (and finding) illumination. It’s a time of more openness to alternative ways of living, believing, and expression. We’re receptive to different or unusual experiences and ideas.
At the same time, we’re averse to any form of force-feeding spirituality or belief systems, preferring our freedom to follow our intuition. It’s a time to reform and update how we express compassion, care for the underprivileged, pursue our dreams, seek escapes, and do art and creativity. However, we can also be more sensitive to stimulants. Read more about this transit on its calendar page.
On the 27th, Saturn stations and turns direct in the sign of Pisces, ending its retrograde since July 13th. This change of direction serves as a strong reminder to take care of our responsibilities and bring our goals down to earth. With Saturn’s direct turn, our responsibilities, and perhaps our limitations, magnify. Gradually, our longer-term goals and plans become clearer. Note that this is the final leg of the Saturn in Pisces transit–on February 13th, it moves on to Aries. Read more about Saturn turning direct on its calendar page.

Aries
November has much to do with making adjustments that will help improve your life, dear Aries, but it's also strong for connecting with your desires and goals. You are tuning into deeper issues and looking beyond the surface for answers this month. It’s an excellent time to research, edit, or review business, relationships, and finances. Your spirits run high, especially from the 4th onward, with your planetary ruler, Mars, moving in harmony with your sign. Improved signals in relationships and clearer personal goals contribute to a satisfying month. Many of the differences you might have been experiencing in partnerships continue to iron themselves out. Overall, you feel back on track and better equipped to manage your life. There may, however, be some pressure to make decisions about travel or education. Something from the past can be dredged up, which changes your point of view. November's energies are on the complicated side, but aiming to observe and process instead of charging ahead can keep you feeling on top of things. Financial new beginnings may be in store after the 20th, but circumstances may require you to rethink your financial strategies. Debts and loans, a partner’s income, or financial backing can be in the spotlight. Passion projects can pull you in, or boosting intimacy with a special person in your life can figure strongly. You gain much from a position of observation this month, but you're also craving some activities that take you away from the regular routine. Generally, you’d prefer not to scatter your energy, and this is a wise strategy. Mercury is retrograde from the 9th to the 29th, and a review of your publishing projects, financials, commitments, and shared resources may be appropriate. For some, a past intimate relationship can come up for “review” or consideration. This review, however, can bring about positive changes and a renewed sense of hope. Prepare for possible delays with transportation and travels, and be vigilant about schooling, applications, and interviews. Be more cautious than usual with mechanical things and communications if you’re impatient, and avoid extensive shortcuts that can cost you in the long run. Pay special attention to schedules. It may be better to wait on making big decisions, both financially and emotionally, until you are seeing things more clearly. Plans or backing may not look as promising as they did last month, but the good news is that adjusting your outlook to a more realistic one will bring rewards down the road. Jupiter also turns retrograde this month--on the 11th. This planet of plenty has brought strong and enthusiastic energy to your domestic projects and home life in recent months, and will continue to do so. Still, its retrograde until March signals a time to slow down a little and tweak your plans. There can be some waning enthusiasm, but slowdowns offer you the chance to look at your plans from a different perspective so you can move forward with more confidence at a later date. Nevertheless, you can be busy in November. In some ways, your life is becoming considerably more exciting this month! There is a growing focus on your solar ninth house, which rules your spirit for adventure, learning, growth, and expansion. Mercury visits until the 18th, Mars enters this sector on the 4th, the Sun on the 21st, and Venus on the 30th. Increasingly this month, you are more adventurous and less focused on minor concerns in favor of the bigger picture. Still, Venus transits your intimacy sector from the 6th to the 30th, and love is private, intimate, and passionate. Accept support if offered, as good things come from others at this point in your life. There’s an emphasis on more profound, more meaningful relationships, as well as a deeper understanding of your fears, passions, and vulnerabilities. The Full and New Moons this month also encourage you to figure out matters related to money, boundaries, support, and ownership. Changes in income sources may be part of this package. While there can be some feelings of chaos or the consequences of overbooking, the cosmos is calling you to establish a more organized, settled, and secure way of living so that you can feel freer to explore your deeper needs. The last week of November features Saturn and Mercury turning direct, and you have a strong feeling that you're moving along. Although Saturn's direct turn can bring on a small dose of reality, it also brings more strength and clarity. It can be a time to face elements of your past that are resurfacing as truths or realities. Knowing where you stand can help you make better plans. Slowly but surely, you’ll feel more equipped to put negative habits and attitudes behind you. Gradually, you’re bound to feel more capable and clear-minded. |
Taurus
You're especially focused on relationships, balance, and harmony in November, dear Taurus, but you're also willing to go in a little deeper and get to the root of problems if need be. Personal transformation and close relationships are strong themes this month. Still, it can involve more than the usual misunderstandings, hurdles, and adjustments. You seem to need to stay active with people in your life, or else tension builds, but you appreciate the directness of this period. Overall, your gracious manner attracts positive experiences. You can expect to learn a lot through your interactions. These “lessons” are not necessarily direct ones–they may simply be about the kinds of feelings and insights you gain from your reactions to someone in your life or from your collaborations. You may have been pouring a lot of energy into relationships recently, and there’s more of this energy in November, perhaps with a big reveal or a turning point. Even so, Mars moves out of your partnership sector and into your solar eighth house on the 4th, and the Sun will do so on the 21st, followed by Venus on the 30th. These ingresses point to a growing desire to transform, improve, and develop a relationship or project. There's warm, pleasant energy with you for daily routines and work until the 6th. You may be finding ways to enjoy your job, chores, or tasks more thoroughly. The Full Moon on the 5th occurs in your sign, bringing epiphanies or a cosmic push to change gears in a relationship. The month can, at times, prompt you to reassess relationship needs. This Full Moon can also lead to an emotional renaissance of sorts in which you discover how you actually feel about a matter. This lunation brings your feelings to the surface and could usher in a mini personal crisis as you become aware of what you're missing in your life. As exciting and enlightening as this is, watch that you don't jump to speak too soon. Passions run hot, but pride can enter the picture, and people can take things very personally, causing tension. From the 9th to the 29th, Mercury is retrograde, beginning in your solar eighth house and then heading back into your partnership sector. There can be a delay or dilemma related to support, debt, income, or an intimate relationship. This may not be resolved until December, but your workarounds can still be creative and valuable. In a general sense, November is a better month for making edits, reorienting yourself, tidying things up, and observing than for pushing your plans forward. Uranus returns to your sign for its final run on the 7th. While Uranus had left to enter your resources sector in July, it later turned retrograde, and now re-enters your sign to finish up there. It's a powerful period to learn from this electric, change-oriented, and sometimes tense position that's been influencing you for many years. Ideally, you've become more independent and less resistant to making improvements in your life. Uranus will leave your sign, this time for good, in April 2026. You've been pursuing new interests and learning about many new things lately with Jupiter in your communications sector, and this continues until June 30th, 2026. Generally speaking, it's a powerful time for learning and connecting. However, with Jupiter retrograde from November 11th to March 10th, it may be time to draw rein or focus on projects already underway rather than expanding or taking on more projects just for now. You’ll be able to see more clearly what needs your attention most. Ultimately, of course, this does you a service. Benefits are strong in communications, but if you do too much, you’ll overload yourself. Now is a good time to determine where and what to prioritize. The New Moon on the 20th brings new energy to a partnership or your relationship goals, or it prompts an alliance. This is a time for repairing your relationships and for reminders of your need for closeness. Financial matters can assume more and more importance as the month advances, or matters of support, dependence, and attachment can emerge. It's possible your intimate life heats up in November. Although money and power dynamics may need straightening out, you can experience more excitement and intimacy with a special someone this month. With the direct turn of both Saturn and Mercury on the 27th and 29th, a friendship gains more clarity, and a venture or plan that you may have shelved begins to move forward. There can be excellent opportunities to learn and team up with others through study groups or friendships based on shared beliefs and interests. Truths coming to light help you better grasp the reality of friendships or projects, a long-term plan, aspiration, or goal. You’re also in great shape to meet your responsibilities. |
Gemini
Your routines, health, work, and daily tasks are in strong focus for you in November, dear Gemini, taking center stage particularly in the first three weeks of the month, but never falling out of focus. Attention to detail and problem-solving can be in the spotlight and beneficial. Organizing the little things in your life will go a long way toward making you feel confident and accomplished. The Full Moon on the 5th illuminates a private matter, especially something that has been left unresolved and now needs settling. The revelations you have now can illustrate the importance of making more time for spiritual, imaginative, and reflective activities. These insights can reignite the motivation and spark you have for your work. If you’ve been neglecting your need for rest and reflection, you could be feeling especially drained and sensitive around this date, ultimately fuelling new plans to make changes. The energy dip around this Full Moon is natural. You’re likely to rebuild your motivation slowly as the month advances. Committed relationships may be a little distant or complicated from the 9th forward. Mercury’s retrograde occurs in your partnership sector at first, and as your ruler and the ruler of your home sector, you may experience some delays in these areas of your life. Remember, these are temporary, and can lead to clever workarounds. Mercury is retrograde until the 29th, but it returns to your work and health sector on the 18th. It's possible a partner (business or personal) is re-visiting old issues, or their indecision can slow something down in your life. Things may feel up in the air with health or work, particularly from the 18th to the 29th. Even so, you’ll get the chance to see details that you overlooked in the past, and these can help you make better decisions later. Jupiter also turns retrograde this month, on the 11th. While you may be experiencing some apparent turnarounds, delays, or waning enthusiasm with business, income, one-to-one relationships, or finances, this is also a good time to rein in certain projects and focus on priorities or perfecting current projects instead of taking on new ones. You’ll be happy you took this time. Fortunately, you have Venus boosting your work and health sector from the 6th to the 30th, helping you find more harmony and enjoyment in your daily routines. At the same time, there is a growing theme of companionship, collaborations, and close partnerships in your astrology in November. Mercury is in your opposite sign until the 18th, Mars from the 4th onward, the Sun from the 21st, and Venus heads in on the last day of November. As such, you may be finding your own courage through someone significant, or you can be busy pairing up to get things done. Activities with a partner can be in focus. At this time, a relationship or partner could be reflecting your own desire for action. If there have been festering problems in a partnership, this is a time when you can’t seem to ignore or tolerate them any longer. Fortunately, you have tools at your disposal to iron out differences, but there is a need for patience and sensitivity with Mercury retrograde from the 9th to the 29th. There can be some mixed signals or crossed wires to manage. It can feel like just when you’re revving up, communication breaks down or slows. The New Moon brings a push to start fresh with your daily routines, day job, or wellness pursuits. Look for new ways to approach your work or services to improve health. Alternatives can be introduced now that lead you to rethink old problems and concerns, and better manage your life. You’ll get a chance to see a particular project or your work from a new perspective around this time, and this “new view” can lead to wonderful new ideas down the road. Self-improvement is in strong focus, and this fresh start can inspire and motivate you. Professional and reputation matters or goals gain clarity, slowly but surely, from the 27th forward, when Saturn ends its retrograde. This marks the final leg of this planet's transit of your career and reputation sector. In February, it will move on for good, not to return for another 26 years! Although it can take some time to get back on track, you will likely see some subtle improvements in these areas. There may be a reality check, but you’ll also determine what’s genuinely doable. Simplifying your life is important, helping you get on track. Making lifestyle changes thrives mainly because your heart is in it. Mercury, your ruler, turns direct just two days later, and a sense of forward motion is with you. Practical matters can thrive, particularly if you've been doing some editing and analyzing. |
Cancer
November brings much focus on recreation, love, work, and health, dear Cancer. Your general mood is playful and happy, and you're making more room for enjoying and expressing yourself. You have greater passion and motivation to get things done, learn, connect, and share. It's also a time to make adjustments, get your priorities straight, and revise your work. You may not often sit still, and you’re inclined to take the initiative on independent work and projects. You learn best when you are teaching yourself this month. The Full Moon on the 5th brings you in touch with a creative or social matter that needs special attention. Emotions can be intense and a little raw around a Full Moon, but if you think things over carefully before taking action, it's revealing. Issues with friends that were left hanging or unresolved may magnify, giving you just the right motivation to make necessary changes and resolutions. This Full Moon might also mark a turning point in a friendship or project. You might ask yourself if you’ve been putting in the effort to take better care of yourself and the things/people you love in the long term, not just in the moment. Until the 6th, activities with family or around the home are in especially good favor. Relationships with loved ones or living conditions are pleasant. From the 4th onward, work can be particularly busy or demanding, and this may be in large part due to rising ambitions to get things done. Alternatively, it's a time of more actively pursuing health and wellness goals. Even so, delays may keep you from charging ahead in these areas from the 9th to the 18th, especially. It can be frustrating, but the redirection can serve you well if it means taking care of details that you missed. You may be proving yourself on the job or simply enjoying more take-charge energy as you go about your daily routines. There can be some everyday pressures, and you might feel the need to rush decisions at times this month. Circumstances challenge you to develop systems to improve your productivity and pay attention to deadlines, details, and rules. It's a fine time to straighten out your daily affairs-- you have plenty of cosmic support for this, even with some delays. The improvements you make now can benefit you greatly later. Mercury is retrograde from the 9th to the 29th, and it's best to take your time with important decisions. Mercury’s retrograde affects your work and routines most until the 18th, after which it's more about romance, hobbies, and pastimes. There can be backtracking or delays as you wait for information to arrive. You might discover new ways to recycle or rework old hobbies. Be more cautious of what you communicate around the 9th to 12th and the 29th. Misunderstandings are likely, and more weight may be given to words you might wish to take back later. Jupiter in your sign turns retrograde on the 11th. While this generous planet continues to boost your optimism and confidence until June 30th, 2026, during its retrograde from November 11th to March 10th, you are likely to recognize areas of excess and begin to work on projects that you’ve already taken on rather than adding new ones to your life. If you’ve been overdoing pleasures or the seeking of freedom, this is the time to rethink and make adjustments that bring you down to earth, just a little! While you might often be preoccupied with health and work matters this month, your personal appeal is strong. Love, creative expression, entertainment, and pleasure are themes. You’re in good shape to attract others with your unique self-expression and vision, in fact. You find ways to shine your light and share your ideas, love, and creations. This month may not be the ideal time to make long-term commitments, but it has all the potential to be a spirit-feeding, pleasurable time in your life. At the very least, you’ll put plans in place for bringing more playfulness into your world. You might experience a new beginning in a romance. There are ups and downs in your social life, but also clear opportunities. The New Moon on the 20th occurs in your sector of romance, hobbies, creativity, and children, but just a day later, the Sun moves out of this area of your solar chart and into your work and health sector. It’s not an ideal time to make bold decisions or moves, but you still feel a sense of starting fresh and heading in a new direction. Saturn’s direct turn on the 27th helps you work on bringing your expectations down to earth. Self-improvement endeavors can be in focus and more successful with your firmer grip on what’s realistic and realizable. Your life might improve with support, increased structure, and greater commitment. Two days later, Mercury ends its retrograde as well, and the flow of information unclogs. |
Leo
Your personal life and domestic matters are in strong focus in November, dear Leo. It's a time for honoring your need for comfort, safety, love, nurturing, and familiarity. At the same time, a strong and building theme of love, leisure, and creativity runs through the month, and you’re likely to find some wonderful channels for enjoyment. Until the 6th, playful or creative communications, learning, flirtations, and engaging learning experiences can figure strongly. From the 6th to the 30th, it's a strong time for entertaining or peace-making with family. Domestic matters are warm and harmonious. With Mars moving into your solar fifth house and into harmony with your sign on the 4th, personal energy is significantly improved–it can feel as if a weight lifts from your shoulders. This extra “get up and go” does wonders for your outlook. Around the Full Moon on the 5th, the emergence of a responsibility or a need to pay special attention to a work or public matter can come into focus. Temporarily, you could feel pressured or scrutinized, but the adjustments you make as a result will dramatically improve your potential for success. While your heart is with your domestic world, handling outside responsibilities can help you enjoy these matters more fully. Mercury turns retrograde on the 9th, which can introduce some delays or redirections. Aim to slow down a little and give people space. There may be some backtracking that affects your romantic relationships or projects, but it also gives you the chance to rethink certain plans and get them right. The 9th to the 12th requires patience and restraint, with Mars wanting to push ahead and aligning with retrograde Mercury. Impulsive moves and words should be avoided now. It’s a period when adjusting to a slower pace can be uncomfortable but it’s also temporary. November is a powerful time for getting in deeper touch with your innermost needs and desires, but it’s not always a straightforward process. People from the past can be a theme now, whether it’s about someone reconnecting with you or thinking (obsessing) about the past. Mercury retrograde periods are fertile for review and reflection, especially on the 20th, when a new perspective on the past benefits you, but the beginning and end dates can be rather charged and disorienting--this month, Mercury is retrograde from the 9th to the 29th. Jupiter turns retrograde in your privacy sector on the 11th, and it's bound to draw you inward to some degree. You can be contemplative at times. Your faith in your instincts or in life itself may not be as strong as it has been. This is a temporary, perhaps necessary process that allows you to reassess where you want to be, where you’re heading, and whether your connection to your spiritual side needs some nurturing. If you’ve been overdoing withdrawal or escape, or if you’ve been so devoted to taking care of others that you’ve fallen behind on filling your own needs, then this retrograde cycle, lasting until March, will help you balance things out. The New Moon on the 20th brings powerful energy for new beginnings in your personal life. It can inspire you to make improvements to your living conditions. Romantic or creative themes are strong with Mars in your solar fifth house from the 4th onward, the Sun moving into this sector on the 21st, and then Venus following suit on the 30th. Mercury is a visitor until the 18th. It’s an expressive time, and your love life may be up and down, but it's active! This might instead be about a creative burst and finding great energy in creating things that make you proud. Even with Mercury retrograde much of the month, it's a generally good time to smooth over differences or strengthen relationships by listening and engaging. People you care about are easier to get along with. Your home life might benefit from some organization, and your relationships could use rules or structure. You can benefit tremendously from working on a domestic project that requires concentration. Knowing your priorities helps you make good choices. With Saturn’s direct turn on the 27th, you might gain more clarity with finances or a relationship. This turnaround can also boost your conviction to make a significant lifestyle change. You may see progress with debts or financial support from this date forward. The need to buckle down could prompt you to be more attentive to — or responsible for — a matter. It’s also possible to gain more clarity in your intimate life or about an important project. Stability is comforting, in fact, and a bit of routine can be just what you need to feel on track. Getting organized and taking care of business can be enjoyable, and you’re likely to come up with great ideas about doing business, making money, or improving methods and efficiency. Just two days after Saturn ends its retrograde, Mercury does the same, reinforcing a strong sense that you're moving forward. Information is unclogging, and delays are lifting as you close out the month. |
Virgo
Your desire for variety is strong, and you seek mental engagement and connection this month, dear Virgo. It’s a time for learning and reaching out to others. There can be many errands and daily comings and goings to deal with now. November brings a pleasant focus on connecting and communicating, with a balancing theme of domestic and personal pursuits weaving through the month. There can be new beginnings on the lines of communicating, learning, and commuting. Communication or transportation breakdowns may prompt new beginnings, and while frustrating, new worlds can open up as you approach the world differently and discover different ways to express yourself and connect with others. For instance, you might discover a new hobby or interest, or find a different route to work. It’s time to diversify! Your success may depend heavily on others and word of mouth this month and the next. Venus in your solar second house until the 6th stirs your desire nature and love of a bit of comfort. It's a time to develop your natural talents in satisfying ways, or for ideas for making money and doing business. If you've packed your schedule, however, the Full Moon on the 5th will likely remind you to find a balance. This also makes sense given that Mercury turns retrograde on the 9th. If you've left little time to feed your desire to escape and explore, you'll now recognize the need for change. This can also be a time for an unveiling or culmination of a project or learning endeavor. Mercury’s retrograde, occurring from the 9th to the 29th, is a time for slowing down and reassessing matters — letting your heart catch up with your mind and looking at the world a little differently so that you gain perspective. Slowdowns in your home life or revisiting old problems with family may be in store for you until the 18th, especially, after which blocks in information flow can be prominent. Mercury’s retrograde is a good time for processing and catching up. Still, aim to be attentive and proactive with communications and transportation equipment, identifying potential problem areas and dealing with them promptly. Be a little more conscious of how and what you communicate for the best results. Venus helps out as it heads into your communications sector on the 6th and sticks around until the 30th. This transit boosts your communication skills and enhances the pleasure you take in sharing and learning. You may be verbalizing your affections successfully, and loving words or sweet talk can be in the spotlight. Certainly, this influence can help mitigate some of the pitfalls or complications of Mercury's retrograde. You may have recently come up with all sorts of ideas for future endeavors, but if you’ve put too much on your plate, you’ll start to feel it with Jupiter’s retrograde from the 11th forward. Your enthusiasm may wane if you have too much before you, so aim to pare things down and focus on a few of the more practical goals. It's possible you're reassessing your involvement with a friend or group, or simply toning down your social life and happiness pursuits if they've taken over too much of your life. A whole new look at an old relationship or project can inspire you around the New Moon on the 20th. Support on mental, physical, financial, or spiritual levels can come now, whether you are giving it or receiving it. Coping with life’s stresses with more patience or perspective can help you and others. A conversation can enhance a relationship, or a relationship might develop from a conversation! Home life is more animated, and family life demands more of your time, but the focus on your personal life is increasingly more pleasant as the month advances. While there may be slowdowns in your home life or the revisiting of old problems with family, you’re ready and willing to make improvements if it increases your chances of getting comfortable. You seem to need a healthy dose of familiarity now. Relationships become steadier and more straightforward due to Saturn’s direct turn on the 27th and strengthening aspects that help you balance fun and responsibility. Realistic expectations of projects and people lead to happier moods all around. Saturn’s direct turn helps ground you, bringing clarity to a relationship or your stand on a situation. It can feel good to have guidelines. Mercury ends its retrograde just two days later, contributing to a solid feeling of moving forward. At the same time, it's a good time to center yourself. |
Libra
Building your resources and solidifying plans are strong themes in November, dear Libra, but there’s a growing theme of communicating and connecting as the month advances. You’re seeking more predictability in your life this month while keeping busy. Still, aim to take the time you need before reaching important conclusions, as it's best not to rush this month. The Full and New Moons can nudge you toward better spending habits and more faith and confidence in your ability to take care of yourself. Until the 6th, Venus continues its transit of your sign, and you come across especially well, with few rough edges. From the 6th to the 30th, Venus graces your resources sector. With Mars leaving this area of your solar chart on the 4th, and Venus moving in, you can enjoy and benefit from more patience with money matters. This shift in planetary positions helps bring a sense of financial stability and personal charm into the mix. From the 4th, there can be more errands to run, busy mental interests, exciting news, and plenty of diverse activities for you to enjoy. However, it's a good idea to pace yourself and spread things out a little so that you can enjoy the sense of peace and comfort that you're now craving. Mercury is retrograde from the 9th to the 30th--another reason to review and reflect rather than push forward with all-new endeavors. Mercury’s retrograde can certainly lead to some delays, but your communications sector is busy all month, and you’re determined to stay abreast of things. Hasty words and moves are best avoided, especially around the 12th. Otherwise, your mind is curious, and you’re interested in feeding it with interesting things. The Full Moon on the 5th can awaken previously hidden desires or a stronger desire for intimacy. You might reach a turning point in a partnership, and a decision about merging your resources can be on the table for some. Information can come to light about shared resources. You may need to curb your enthusiasm a little on the professional front beginning on the 11th, just enough to gain a new perspective and to focus on projects that are doable. This is when Jupiter turns retrograde. Even so, there can be a pleasant feeling of letting things unfold naturally, and faith that they will work out in the end. You might decide to review, edit, and perfect current projects rather than taking on new ones just for the time being. There's a spotlight on money matters, personal possessions, sensual pleasures, and financial security in November. Finances are not without complications, but there is great energy with you for making a fresh start. A new budget or plan could be in order. Venus helps smooth things over, though it also encourages a bit of indulgence during its transit of your solar second house. Around the 20th, with a New Moon and an inferior conjunction, you see a money matter in a new light, and this can lead to interesting new ideas and directions. New ways of approaching your money, habits, attachments, and intimate relationships are emerging. Aim to pay attention to important advice or newfound knowledge, but aim to put big plans into motion after Mercury’s retrograde. The Sun’s move into your communications sector on the 21st points to a more connected, communicative period. In truth, Mars has been encouraging you to socialize and diversify more often since the 4th, and now the Sun gets into the game. At the same time, you may be discovering new ways to earn more or enjoy what you’re doing, perhaps both. New insights into your needs can be helpful, informing better choices. You seem to have more patience or determination to draw upon, making it a fine time to take steps toward achieving a practical goal. You're discovering what is truly valuable to you, and you're recognizing your capabilities in realistic terms. In fact, with Saturn’s direct turn on the 27th, you’ll find it easier--or necessary--to get back on track with wellness programs or work projects. It’s a time to adopt a more straightforward approach to meeting and facing your responsibilities. Learning where you stand on a matter can be a relief and can also improve planning and decision-making. Simple pleasures can be more satisfying than usual, and practical matters and tasks with clear guidelines, expectations, and goals fare the best. This change of direction also signals the last leg of Saturn's transit of your sector of habits, routines, work, and health. In February, it will move on. Until then, it's a powerful time to digest and crystallize this transit's lessons. Mercury ends its retrograde on the 29th, and you may be excited about plans moving forward or about the news you've been waiting for. It’s a good time to put effort into growing something — whether a business, a relationship, or a project — and to enjoy the process. |
Scorpio
In many ways, November is a power month for you, dear Scorpio, although you will be doing some reassessing of projects and plans before pushing forward. The month is more about you personally than it is about your professional life, which may take a backseat temporarily. Personal and money goals are in high focus. For the first three weeks of November, you have personal presence and power, but you may be somewhat difficult to get in touch with on certain levels. Whether this translates as being a little hard to get, withdrawn, or aloof, it’s a time for looking behind you so that you can better see your next step forward. Your affectionate nature is a little withdrawn, pensive, and more private than usual until the 6th, after which Venus visits your sign, bringing attention your way. While the Sun is in your sign until the 21st, and Jupiter is in harmony, Jupiter turns retrograde on the 11th and Mercury on the 9th. So, you’re certainly called to action and in the spotlight, but it's also important to take some time to reflect, withdraw, reconsider, and review things. Helping you wind down from some of the chaos is Mars leaving your sign on the 4th, encouraging you to pace yourself. While Mars leaves your sign on the 4th, Venus enters it on the 6th, and this serves to pull out and highlight your natural grace. If you want others to see things from your perspective, this is a good time, even if it’s only the first stage in the process of sharing yourself with someone. Your personal magnetism and attractiveness increase impressively. You are warmer and more approachable. While it’s not always the case, your ability to open yourself up to others seems to be directly proportional to the opportunities that open up to you this month. While you continue to experience a desire to venture out and discover new things, Jupiter’s retrograde period from the 11th until can signal some natural tempering of your enthusiasm. You may need to downplay some adventurous, pleasure-seeking activities, but in the process, your expectations come back to earth, which is empowering. Mercury is retrograde from the 9th to the 29th, returning to your sign on the 18th. Mercury turns direct on the 29th and will continue to transit your sign until December 11th. While Mercury’s retrograde from the 9-29 does add something to the hectic quality of the month, it’s also encouraging you to slow down! You may be in a cautious frame of mind. Avoid pushing matters. Consider whether certain decisions need to be made just yet. You may want to revisit recent decisions, and certain projects may require a second look. Look more closely at what’s on the inside and align your outer goals to better reflect what you feel and what you’ve become in the last year. Finances need a second look. There is a theme with money and business this month that involves looking to past projects for inspiration. You’ll have to take a new approach to these ventures or ideas after dusting them off, but they can be true gems. The Full Moon on the 5th may bring with it a surprising revelation, or a close relationship can begin, blossom, or demand your attention. Your independent side has been prominent recently, and while it’s not letting up, you are softening rough edges. Nevertheless, you are still fighting for your rights and demanding a show of respect. This Full Moon has an eyes-wide-open effect on your partnership or feelings for someone. The New Moon on the 20th is all about you and presenting a new look, image, or more authentic version of “you” to others. Yes, you’re still reflecting and considering your next step, but you have more power than usual to take charge and to make an impact in the days after this lunation. This is a time for a new beginning of sorts. It’s likely to cause a few ripples on the relationship front, but it’s also a good time for making decisions to start fresh. You’re more visible and personally magnetic, and while it’s a good time to ride this energy, you are inclined to withdraw a little. You’re still attracting attention, and you have increased energy or motivation to bring about needed changes in your life. Something may need to go for you to move forward with less baggage and more confidence. It's a powerful time for the very beginning of new ideas, particularly related to personality and image. The month ends with Saturn's direct turn, Mercury turning direct in your sign, and Venus ending its transit of Scorpio. It's an excellent time to be determined to enjoy the moment. The weeks ahead are favorable for matters related to money and comfort, as well as handling business with a creative and warm approach. Ultimately, shifts occurring now clarify your feelings, relationships, projects, and ventures. It’s more natural to recognize what’s genuinely doable. Don’t be surprised if you experience strong instincts to zero in on particular goals and projects, as it’s an excellent time to cut out the fluff. |
Sagittarius
November brings an interesting mix of energies to your life, dear Sagittarius, even if it's sometimes complicated. You can sometimes feel you're in the driver's seat, and other times you're not sure who's in charge. You are hosting all of the personal planets (the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars) in your sign at various points this month, and this increases your independence and power, but at times, you could feel a little alone with your decisions. You’re not exactly putting everything on hold, but you’re called to take more time for yourself to recharge. Mercury in your sign quickens your mental energies, favoring any task that involves getting your point across effectively! From the 9th forward, though, it’s time to slow down on a mental level. Edit, refine, reflect, and refocus. Allow time for your heart to catch up before moving projects forward. Chances are good that they can wait. There is a need to nourish both the inner and outer life now, and you tend to see people as the means to feed your well while Venus continues its transit of your social sector until the 6th. After this date, quieter moments are more appealing. Love and relationships tend to be under the radar or, in some manner, undecided or up in the air. Venus enters your sign only on the last day of the month, and at that time, you'll feel clearer on a heart level. An example of some flip-flopping this month: Mars enters your sign on the 4th, and then Mercury, already transiting Sagittarius, stations and turns retrograde on the 9th, meeting up with Mars on the 12th. This brings a challenging dynamic — while you should probably watch for talking ahead of yourself about things you are not quite sure about, this can be a time, through trial and error, to find a better pace for your life. About Mars in your sign from the 4th, it brings creative and romantic energy to your world, as well as increased charisma, courage, energy, and confidence to pursue your goals, although you may not be entirely clear about which direction to head until after the Sun enters your sign on the 21st. You can be seeking out more rest and privacy in November, all the while, as stimulating dramas seem to be playing out around you. There is no shortage of things to do – it is more about your ability to pick and choose. The Full Moon on the 5th can heighten your awareness of a work or health matter, and the days following it may involve some sorting and adjustments as new information comes to light. Emotions can run high, and you might worry a little more than is healthy. But this can also point to a peak if you handle it well. Even so, Mercury begins its retrograde in your sign on the 9th, prompting a few more weeks in which you may need to reevaluate recent projects. Your planetary ruler, Jupiter, turns retrograde shortly after: on the 11th. Perhaps the greatest challenge of the month is gaining others' understanding. People may not be "getting" you for now. You are assertive and friendly on the one hand, but a little secretive, aloof, and hard to read on the other. You are taking a temporary break from competitive energies and ambitions. They're not exactly on hold, but you are taking more time to think about what it is you want. Still, you have tremendous energy on your side from the 4th onward. Tone down your manner, if you can, for maximum success this month. If others are misunderstanding you in the second half of the month, you may very well find new ways of expressing yourself that not only work but also are satisfying. You're resourceful and enthusiastic. The New Moon on the 20th brings a strong charge of energy to end your solar year well—by putting negativity behind you and focusing on new goals. The Sun moves into your sign just a day after the New Moon, on the 21st, and while you receive extra attention, you’re nevertheless still feeling hesitant about throwing yourself into new situations. The Sun in your sign is exciting, however, and you're gearing up to start fresh. Saturn's direct turn on the 27th is strong for home and family life, and it's also good news financially, as things are unsticking and moving along well in these life departments from that date forward. Efforts to improve family life, particularly on the level of structure and order, resume full force now. It’s a powerful time for organizing your things. It’s also a time when you’re coming into your own, seeking out more from life, but also asking what you can do to make life more rewarding. Mercury’s direct motion from the 29th helps clear a few things up, even if you still have some thinking and adjusting to do. Mercury will return to your sign on December 11th, and you'll be moving ahead, this time around, unhampered by delays. Venus heading into Sagittarius on the 30th is another boost to clarity and popularity. You're also feeling stronger, more in charge of your life, and more confident. |
Capricorn
Your connections, social life, hopes, dreams, or community involvement are in stronger focus this month, dear Capricorn. November is potentially powerful for friend or group activities, networking, and payoffs from recent career or business efforts. There remains the need to process recent events and get your footing, but you’re also in a very sociable phase that’s excellent for you. Taking some educated risks can expand your world now. The Full Moon on the 5th opens your eyes to your feelings for someone or a current creative project. This can be an exciting time for love, creativity, and fertility. Emotions can be overflowing as you explore your feelings. Occurring around the time of a Mars-Uranus opposition, tensions run high if you feel restricted. Something could trigger buried frustration or resentment, which can relate to an overloaded schedule or change in schedule. Pushing yourself beyond your limits won’t help you, so do your best to learn those limits. You begin the month with warm appeal on professional or public levels. People are receiving you well, and possibly speaking highly of you as well. There is certainly a theme of networking and the support of friends in November, but also a lighter underlying theme of introspection, preparation, and attention to physical and emotional needs that will grow further in December. Mercury’s retrograde from the 9th to the 29th suggests a need to look back, reflect, and reconsider certain plans before moving forward with them. Recognize that communications can now be confused, and that signals from others can be misread. You are likely wrestling with a decision about a private matter. Even with retrograde-fueled hiccups, this month, you're very often in a great position to expand your social contacts or improve a particular friendship. The New Moon on the 20th encourages new beginnings. You’re willing to put in the effort for a friendship to work, and the same applies to your studies and communication projects. It's a fine time for both inspiration and productivity. Feelings about something from your past can be a driving force for change. Mars moves into your privacy sector early in November--on the 4th--pointing to the need to pace yourself and rest or take personal time more than usual. At the same time, this month's lunations point to benefits of working cooperatively with others, reminding you of your need for others and for the community. The need to delegate tasks or collaborate can emerge. While the month’s themes are complicated, they can also help move your life forward in the grand scheme of things, even when the month seems rather focused on the past, which is very often the case. Some of the enthusiasm you’ve been feeling about a relationship may begin to wane a notch from the 11th forward, when Jupiter retrogrades, as you begin to see it from a more realistic perspective. However, this is not a negative thing by any means. In fact, some introspection is in order, and a more mature look at others and your own relationship needs is empowering. In fact, you have Venus helping you connect with others smoothly and in happy, reinforcing ways from the 6th to the 30th. There is a nice mutual flow of energy, and the focus may be on the past or old friendships after the 18th. New friendships recently made or rekindled continue to figure strongly in your life, even with some related backtracking, delays, or challenges. Relationship bumps and bruises can be repaired. Vesta begins its transit of your sign on the 15th, pointing to more clarity and even a mission that motivates you, inspiring your independent nature. You’re developing an excellent ability to pace yourself and channel your energy into constructive activities. From the 21st forward, you're in a solar cycle that emphasizes some level of retreat, whether you're taking a break from competitive activities or simply enjoying more downtime. This cycle happens every year, but this time around, Mars has given you a head start along these lines. In fact, you’ve recognized these needs for extra rest or some withdrawal from November 4th forward. Saturn's direct turn on the 27th officially launches the final leg of Saturn's transit of your communication sector. It can prompt a reality check or a reminder of your need to organize and take care of your daily affairs. More structure to your communications, studies, and connections to others can benefit you greatly. Procrastination is costly, and you feel more energetic and confident as you meet your goals and responsibilities more promptly. Mercury also ends its retrograde cycle two days later, and things feel as if they're unblocking as the month draws to a close. Resting and reflecting are activities that not only become more possible, but also highly appealing. |
Aquarius
Your goals and plans are in strong focus this month, dear Aquarius, but you’re also paying special attention to your social life. As such, there is good potential for achieving a satisfying life-work balance in November. You're likely to engage in more activities with teams or groups while also enjoying fulfilling your responsibilities. Several influences on your chart point to increased commitment to realizing success, whether success is about performance in your career, steps towards achieving your goals, or about feeling or staying on top of things. A focus on friendships, community, or your happiness goals is also developing. There has been a spotlight on your obligations to the outside world, your reputation, and your professional or public life. While this continues in November, the Full Moon on the 5th can pull your attention to personal matters closer to home. Activity centered on your home and family can seem distracting and overwhelming initially, but it can also work in your favor, ultimately balancing you. Taking care of these matters can help you advance other areas of your life, as you’ll bring more maturity and realism to your plans and a more confident “you” to the outside world. If home life is out of balance, you’ll recognize the need to get things in shape. Until the 6th, publishing can be profitable. Connections made with people from different cultures can be notably enjoyable and beneficial. On the 7th, your planetary ruler, Uranus, returns to the sign of Taurus for its final visit before moving on for good next year. Look for innovative ways to improve your home life. You're taking the lead or receiving more attention than usual in November, and it helps to believe in yourself and have confidence in your abilities. You have Venus at the top of your solar chart from the 6th to the 30th, helping you out and enhancing both your image and your feelings of joy and pleasure with what you’re doing. It's a great influence for smoothing things over with your career, reputation, or relationships. You may be aligning yourself with new goals or adjusting those already in place, and finding a better balance between work and home life can be essential to this. From the 18th to the 30th, you could be revisiting old problems in your career or dealing with issues created by others. Even so, you also have the chance to breathe new life into projects that you shelved in the past but now seem more relevant and valuable. It may be best to tone down impatience with stalled projects or difficult personalities. You may feel pressured to make a decision, but waiting it out can be a better option if you have that luxury. Simply keep in mind that Mercury’s retrograde from the 9th to the 29th can mean more delays and hiccups to deal with than average. You’ll have plenty of time to rework your plans in December. Your efforts to organize your affairs can lead to increased income or the discovery of resources you had forgotten about or didn’t know you were entitled to. Jupiter retrograde in your work and health sector from the 11th onward can tame your enthusiasm just enough that you’re seeing these things more realistically. Continue to pour special attention into your routines and wellness efforts. Try not to take on more projects now; instead, focus on what you’ve already begun. It's a period of higher visibility, attention to life-path goals, and networking. There can be new energy in your career, or a new beginning of sorts, from the 20th, although powering ahead isn't yet wise. Intellectual companionship is easy to find this month, and you may very well discover a treasure from your past along these lines. Your social life, which may have been on the dry side in recent months, is picking up energy. You have Mercury in your social sector until the 18th, Mars from the 4th onward, the Sun from the 21st, and Venus from the 30th. Mercury’s retrograde from the 9th can mean there’s backtracking to do, but efforts to do so can help you make the right decisions later. New relationships might seem to slow down, or something is left up in the air. Any distance in a current friendship is likely temporary. When it comes to friends, you may be taking a trip down memory lane. Saturn’s direct turn on the 27th is strengthening for general confidence, and it also means that money matters should steadily improve or clarify. It’s a good time to firm up your budget, evaluate business projects, pare down excess to make yourself more secure, and pay a bit more attention to your practical affairs. Saturn will now be on the last leg of its journey through your money and values sector, and pulling out its lessons can be worthwhile. Mercury ends its retrograde on the 29th, contributing to a sense that you're moving forward, and Venus heads into harmony with your sign on the 30th, boosting your friendships further. |
Pisces
November brings strong themes for learning and relating, dear Pisces. It can be a period of finding more meaning in your life. You’re trying new ways of approaching the world around you, exploring beyond your usual bounds, and breaking out of the regular routine. This can be about physical or mental travel. You are expressing yourself in different ways, finding additional audiences, and otherwise expanding your reach. Until the 6th, you’re in a great position to smooth over conflicts surrounding money, debts, or other imbalances. It can be a good time to get a loan if needed. This month, challenges to your plans often take the form of commitments to current projects. Handling problems with patience and confidence puts you in a stronger, more mature position. The Full Moon on the 5th can bring a learning or transportation matter to a head, and a turning point in your life. New avenues for communicating and commuting can lead to fabulous improvements, ultimately. For now, it can be a bit chaotic as you adapt to the changes. With Jupiter turning retrograde in your solar fifth house on the 11th, this is a time for realigning your thinking regarding a creative project, pleasure, or romance. You don’t need to put things on hold until March, but you can benefit from slowing things down a little so that you can catch your breath. Romantic prospects are still very good, although you might be refining your approach to getting what (and who) you want in love. As well, from the 9th onward, there can be some battle with disorganization or fuzziness on facts as Mercury retrogrades at the top of your solar chart. It would be wise to double-check your communications, since your voice comes across loud and clear (and this applies to the written word as well), but the risk of being misunderstood is high. Public and professional communications need extra attention—be as clear as possible, avoiding off-the-cuff remarks and quick reactions, especially around the 12th. Retrograde Mercury dips back into your spirit sector on the 18th and completes its retrograde on the 29th. Watch for slowdowns or miscommunications this month, but don’t pass on opportunities to redo, review, and strengthen plans and projects. Simply save new beginnings for later. In fact, looking at past ideas and projects can be useful now. In fact, important thinking about matters related to education, publishing, or travel is in focus, especially around the 20th. From the 6th to the 30th, your promotional and marketing efforts could yield significant results. You might find yourself drawn to a new area of study or feel a strong urge to delve deeper into a subject. Long-distance romance could be on the horizon for some. Alternatively, stepping into unfamiliar territory could lead to important connections. While the New Moon on the 20th stirs your hunger for more knowledge, experience, or variety, from the 21st onward, you give more thought to your career, responsibilities, reputation, and long-term goals. Your ambition increases, and you might safely expect some shuffling around as priorities change. Do watch for impulsive moves and reactions in these life departments. With Mars entering this sector on the 4th, you could feel a rush of ambition or a strong desire to take action on achieving your goals. However, Mercury turns retrograde in this same sector on the 9th, and there can be some delays to deal with, or you may not have all the information you want to charge ahead. However, much of this is settling down. Mercury ends its retrograde on the 29th, and Saturn does the same on the 27th. Saturn is visiting your sign for the last time before moving on, and Saturn's direct turn on the 27th marks the final leg of its transit. Saturn turns direct in your sign after a long period of retrograde motion. This shift will boost your confidence, not in a showy way, but through a deep sense of clarity and understanding of reality. You’re well-positioned to resume or begin specific health pursuits. Your determination to move forward intensifies, but remember, patience and steady pacing are your allies. While responsibilities and problems may seem daunting, this shift empowers you with a strong sense of realism, clarity, and self-discipline. Saturn will leave your sign in February, not to return for another 26 years! The last week of November could see your creative projects or ideas not only flourishing but also coming to practical fruition. Lending a helping hand to a friend or acquaintance could bring you a sense of fulfillment and achievement. |

Horoscopes for the Month
Void of Course Dates this Month

Read more about this transit on its calendar page.
