Composite Chart: Venus - Mars Aspects

When composite Venus is conjunct composite Mars:

Passionate attraction to one another is strong and unlikely to fade over time, although it can turn into passionate hatred if things don't work out between you! You arouse strong feelings in one another. Friendly competition at the very least is likely between you, and frequent heated moments between you, while they can be extreme in either direction, keep you stimulated and interested in one another. Passionate interest and involvement, in fact, is vital to your happiness as a couple, and problems in this area should never be ignored. Keeping this flame alive is important, but so is the excitement you inspire in one another for other interests and projects.

You stimulate powerful feelings in one another, and they are insistent and perhaps even impatient ones. Your physical relationship may have developed before your intimate relationship, and it's important to allow intimacy to catch up with you. There can be quite a bit of posing, cat and mouse games, and “foreplay” that is not always of the pleasant variety. It is all too easy to offend one another. Although the sexual attraction is strong, hypersensitivity to one another can often stand in the way of fulfillment.

Energy flows quite beautifully between the two of you, and you are often in synch with one another, enjoying good timing. You find one another pleasantly stimulating. While you are not overly anxious to shake up your romantic or sexual routine, you are also open to trying new things that naturally keep the spark from dying out between you. The key here is that there is no pressure to do so--things just naturally flow in that direction. This is an excellent aspect for romance. Rarely do petty arguments disturb your expression of affection, unless there are severely challenging components in the rest of your composite chart. You have that much-desired "chemistry", and although others might see it and even be inspired by it, it's important that you take the time to value it every once in a while, as it's so natural that you may not always appreciate it.

When composite Venus is quincunx composite Mars:

What arouses or pleases one of you may be so foreign to the other that you simply miss one another's cues, or your drives may be of very different levels of intensity. Poor timing or different rhythms and pacing may well play a role. Somehow, the two of you aren't in sync, physically or sexually. This is not to say there won't be plenty of desire and affection, only that learning how to give and receive it will require adjustments and patience on both of your parts. A rewarding physical relationship will only be possible if you're both willing to learn and compromise.
